Also, i voted 700k for the poll question.

Yes thats a bit low...but i think initial sales wont be COD amazing, but eventually sales will pick up. I believe that the bulk of Titanfall's sales will come after launch. Good word of mouth and good reviews!

I agree.

Video game players may experience altered visual perceptions after playing, a new study has found.
Researchers at Nottingham Trent University’s International Gaming Research Unit found that some video game players experienced distorted versions of real world surroundings.
Others saw video game images and misinterpreted real life objects after they had stopped playing.
Gamers also reported seeing video game menus popping up in front their eyes when they were in a conversation, or saw coloured images and ‘heads up’ displays when driving on the motorway.
The study involved the analysis of 656 experiences from 483 gamers collected in 54 online video game forums.
This is the first of a series of studies that aims to identify, classify and explain ‘Game Transfer Phenomena’ (GTP) experiences via the different senses: sight, sound and touch, researchers said.
GTP research focuses on gamers’ perceptions, cognitions and behaviours influenced by video game playing and aims to further understanding of the psychosocial implications of altered perceptions induced by virtual technologies.
Visual illusions can easily trick the brain and staring at visual stimuli can cause ‘after-images’ or ‘ghost images’.
The novelty of this new study, the researchers said, is that GTP were triggered by associations between video game experiences and objects and activities in real life contexts.
The findings also raise questions about the effects of the exposure to certain visual effects used in video games, researchers said.
In some playing experiences, video game images appeared without awareness and control of the gamers and, in some cases, the images were uncomfortable, especially when gamers could not sleep or concentrate on something else.
These experiences also resulted in irrational thoughts such as gamers questioning their own mental health, getting embarrassed or performing impulsive behaviours in social contexts.
However, other gamers clearly thought that these experiences were fun and some even tried to induce them.
“Some gamers may be more susceptible than others to experience GTP. The effects of these experiences appear to be short-lived, but some gamers experience them recurrently,” said psychologist Professor Mark Griffiths.
“More research is needed to understand the cognitive and psychological implications of GTP,” Griffiths said.
The study is published in the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction.

Neogaf user RazorUk - It isn't confirmed official number but it's the only guns he found in beta, don't ask me how he done it xD idk, something to do with finding the strings or something and using a Hex editor on the data files....So yeah, Idk exactly how he done it but it looks all 100% real

They could add more within the one month release but idk =/

He said he found the strings for the map images, so that he feels confident this is correct. - I assume he would do this for the gun images also

Ok so he is just digging up the beta they might not have put all the guns strings in beta their might be more we don't know so their is no reason to be sad be happy and play titanfall. The thing that worries me is less game modes when I want to have fun or play game just for fun the time I am not seroius I want fun game mode like in halo team action snack, griffball etc some people maybe be competitive in these playlists but for most it is fun I want playlists which add variety to gameplay.

A very serious question

As Vince Zampella said max player count is 6vs6 so in Team Deathmatch which is being said as a mode will it be limited to 6vs6 because looking at size of titanfall's map 6vs6 is very less

Map without grunts should atleast 8vs8 not less than that otherwise gameplay will slowdown as we will not even find pilots.

Shikamaru you are thinking to move to steam box but why can you give me reasons why you are shifting to steam box I think it is nothing why would you purchase a box equal to the price of a pc only to play games with no extra features can you please explain what makes you buy a steam machine please provide some details

It's cool that they did the comparisons, wish more companies would do that, Xbone version looked fine to me.

Playstation fans are too obsessed with resolution, lol they're so worried that the witcher 3 won't be 1080p... relax

ooo yeah! I got my unique weapon i've been looking for xD

That's all now for Pilot weapon descriptions, all the rest of the guns he posted are already in beta so the ones I've posted here are the extras that will be in full game

Sweet, they have the Spartan Laser in the game!

That damage on the G2A4 Rifle - I can almost see the OP threads already.

Until MS brings out their new SDK I think we won't see parity in the resolutions as the devs say the old kit is much harder to code for than Sony's.

New SDK? will that really even help?

I can't wait for the day when the resolution threads just stop.
