They should keep the kinect but a temporary price cut or a bundle with titanfall will give nice sales boost.

Make xbox one available for 450$ to celebrate the launch of titanfall like Titanfall month where you can buy xbox one for cheap.

Same can be done for Kinect Sports Rivals Name the month has month of kinect sports rivals give xbox one and kinect sports rivals bundle for 470-500$ These small promotions will give Xbox one a boost in sales.

Agreed... Marketing, marketing, marketing... The rest is just plain acceptance of weakness witch might work on the short run but pretty much fuck your image for a long while.... If they axe Kinect, not only people will feel betrayed, but a ton if people pretending they'll buy when Kinect is gone.. Still won't... And it will just result in more distrust on MS back...

we are early in the Gen... 90% of future user haven't bought their console yet.... Price cut has way enough time to come... I have no worries so far, come Holliday season we'll be fine and 2015 2016 will bring great things... Especially now that the convergence of windows eco system is pretty much confirmed... PS will be a toy for graphic nerds in comparison....

You are right but this is the start of the generation more than 5-6years are left but microsoft needs to market these titles like titanfall and kinect sports rivals so that people come to know about these titles and they sell well. If they take out kinect out of the xbox then the xbox will be incomplete the way it works tight now is fine.People who say they will buy xbox if kinect was not there are pretty much miniority all those who purchased xbox one have only good things to say about Kinect I don't own an xbox because it is yet to launch in my country. My friend got it from us I played it at his place kinect is awesome way to control the xbox I quote from you selling a tv without remote is a similiar situation with selling xbox without kinect. I believe most of the innovation microsoft has talkid about xbox oen will be not work properly without kinect. Kinect is the thing that makes xbox one  far more superior product than ps4 for me and my realatives and friends.

So a Kinectless xbox will really make me upset and not a owner of xbox one so no kinect means no xbox one for me. Microsoft should make a price cut for xbox somewhere in holiday before it market your games and console the way I told you

Yeah they need to push Kinect... And the console in general... But like some said the console is not really finished imo... After both updates we'll start see things open up... Turn the new SDK, cross compatibility with WP and windows app is on the way... I think 2015/2016 is were Xbox one will really shine.. Right now it is on soft launch imo....

different subject... My Xbox has been stuck on the spinning icon when I power it up for about 5min now... Anybody experiencing such issues??? When I push the XB button the menu comes up... It seems like an xbl issue... Ever got that???

You guys hyped for Halo 2 on One? This was 100% confirmed right? I feel like no one's talking about it.

I'm excited but I want to see it announced with Halo 2 multiplayer.

Halo 2 is one of my all-time favorite games, so I'm pretty happy with this personally. Though it does make me worry about the XB1's overall holiday lineup. Halo 5 would have been a very huge title to drive momentum at the end of the year, so I'm hoping MS has a few more heavy hitting games coming up as well.
