Sony says Project Copernicus is too risky, I'm sure the Kingdom Of Alamur sale for the IP includes their MMO and all work done on it also along with the main series so it seems unlikely that Sony will buy it now

Microsoft should buy it and show people they aren't playing it safe, take a risk for once MS Loll... (Although I wouldn't mind if they just bought the Ip and sold off everything to do with the MMO and continued with the main series Lol)

Ms should for RPGS

Lionhead - Fable, Kingdoms Of Alamur, New IP

Buy Mistwalker Studios and Jade Empire IP - Jade Empire 2, Blue Dragon 2, Lost Odyssey 2 Lol

That would be awesome.

This is what i love about the new generation. All these new ip's and more chances taken.

-Evolve
-Lords of the Fallen
-Project Spark
-Killer Instinct
-TitanFall
-The Division
-The Order: 1886
-DriveClub
-The Crew
-Ryse: Son of Rome
-Quantum Break
-Sunset Overdrive
-Watch Dogs
-The Crew
-Project Cars
-X
-Destiny
-Knack

Im sure im missing a bunch but those are the ones that comes to my mind off the top of my head. Sure some does good and some doesnt, but i prefer this over only getting Call of Duty, Assasin's Creed, halo, Battlefield, god of war, killzone, etc  I still want them to be released, but i want others as well.

Sure theyre all great franchises but i like chances being taken as well with some of these games we are seeing early on.  And im sure their is only more to be announced by EA, Ubisoft, Activision, MSFT, Sony, and others.

Hopefully i get in this time -_-

Xbox one New SDK coming and will comftorably reach 1080p

The senior producer of Sniper Elite 3 has discussed why it's currently harder to get the Xbox One to output at 1080p compared to the PS4, though he reckons this will change with time.

Speaking to Gaming Bolt, Jean-Baptiste Bolcato highlighted some of the differences caused by relying on the eSRAM as opposed to the unified architecture of the PS4.

“It was clearly a bit more complicated to extract the maximum power from the Xbox One when you’re trying to do that. I think eSRAM is easy to use. The only problem is…Part of the problem is that it’s just a little bit too small to output 1080p within that size. It’s such a small size within there that we can’t do everything in 1080p with that little buffer of super-fast RAM.

They are releasing a new SDK that’s much faster and we will be comfortably running at 1080p on Xbox One.

“It means you have to do it in chunks or using tricks, tiling it and so on. It’s a bit like the reverse of the PS3. PS3 was harder to program for than the Xbox 360. Now it seems like everything has reversed but it doesn’t mean it’s far less powerful – it’s just a pain in the ass to start with. We are on fine ground now but the first few months were hell.

"They are releasing a new SDK that’s much faster and we will be comfortably running at 1080p on Xbox One. We were worried six months ago and we are not anymore, it’s got better and they are quite comparable machines. The Xbox One is a bit more multimedia, a bit more hub-centric so its a bit more complex. There’s stuff you can and can’t do because it’s a sort of multimedia hub. PS4 doesn’t have that. PS4 is just a games machine.

"At least on paper, [PS4 is] a bit more powerful. But I think the Xbox One is gonna catch up. But definitely there’s this eSRAM. PS4 has 8GB and it’s almost as fast as eSRAM [bandwidth wise] but at the same time you can go a little bit further with it, because you don’t have this slower memory. That’s also why you don’t have that many games running in 1080p, because you have to make it smaller, for what you can fit into the eSRAM with the Xbox One."

It's interesting that he says an SDK update is on the way to help the Xbox One achieve higher performance. This early in the console cycle, it's not hugely surprising that developers are finding one console slightly easier to develop for than the other. As he points out though, it's very likely this will change as time goes on.

More details about March Update

http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/02/11/multiplayer-party-updates-for-xbox-one-detailed

The second major Xbox One update will put greater focus on your somewhat marginalized friends list, bringing it front and center on the homepage of the Friends app. You will now have the option to click the 'Social' tile on your home page or say "Xbox, go to Friends" to immediately see who's online.

Party chat audio, which currently has to be turned on manually, will be turned on by default as soon as you start or join a party. Further, Party chat will now be separated from just the people playing your game, so you'll have the ability to chat with friends outside of your game if you wish.

Microsoft is also introducing an "Invite friends to game" option to multiplayer titles moving forward, which will appear inside a game's menu as a simpler option to set up online matches with your buddies. A 'Recent Players' list will be added, highlighting those you've recently played with in case you want to interact with them again.

Whitten promises more features in the update, the details of which will be shared in the days and weeks ahead.

Every bit of that is needed.  Glad theyre doing it now rather than later.
