Those Xbox One controllers are sick! Are they legit or fake? (besides the Titanfall one obviously)

Another bug in the website great xD, anyway that Deadpool one is cool but I think it would be weird playing on it since it has his eyes. It would be like Deadpool's always watching you and getting angry over every mistake you make in a game.

Based on my knowledge of the hardware and software from each system I'd agree with your friend's analysis, the Xbox One has it's strengths and the PS4 has it's strengths. Your friend wouldn't be the first developer (many of which were 3rd party developers) to say that the graphical difference between the Xbox One and PS4 is largely due to the Xbox One's SDK being behind the PS4's due to a rushed launch. It makes sense if you think about it, Microsoft had to rework the Xbox One's OS at the last minute to remove the originally announced DRM and Kinect plug in requirement, spending that much time reworking the OS it's not a stretch to imagine that the SDK got put on the backburner. Microsoft specializes in software, just like last gen I expect the Xbox One's SDK to be better than the PS4's once all is said and done. Once that happens the graphical difference will be greatly decreased, GPU bound games might look a little better on the PS4, while CPU bound games might look a little better on the Xbox One. All in all most games will be the same resolution and same FPS with only minor graphical differences elsewhere. I think we'll start to see the graphical gap between the two shrink over the next few months, and I think I already know the next multiplat game that will match or possibly even exceed the PS4 version's graphics (it releases over the summer, and it's apparently a CPU bound game, the Xbox One's strength). |
I really dont see the gap increasing or decreasing. The hardware is waay to similar.
As for the SDK's both will continue to mature and improve over time to gain the most out of the hardware. Thats really all you can do...you cant go over and above what the hardware is capable of. And given the hardware i would imagine both companies wil get to where they want to be within a year or two or even less time.
We might see some more GPGPU techniques used which will help both consoles given that they both rely almost entirely on the GPU's. Thats where the most gains will occur but we have yet to see the PC industry move heavily towards gpgpu.

Titanfall one? Lol, I'm pretty sure all off them are just concept except the last ones that are just random colors and Xbox One scuff ones maybe, The rest are just concept but could easily be made =D Love that space type one and the Deadpool one |
Oh wow that wasn't a Titanfall controller >_<
