It was one of his rumors, but it does make sense since Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity co-developed Halo CE Anniversary. I definitely think Halo 2 Anniversary is coming this year, there was a leak of Halo 5 details (seperate from ntkrnl's leak) that seemed way too ambitious for a 2014 release, but possible for 2015, yet we know that Halo game is coming in 2014. Both Major Nelson and Phil Spencer have hinted at Halo 2 Anniversary now, and this is the game's 10th Anniversary. All of the pieces are in place, I'll be dissapointed if Microsoft doesn't release Halo 2 Anniversary this year.

That's the March vote, you're supposed to vote for games that release in March or later.  Thief releases in February. 

From the sounds of it, MSFT kept the KI team from Killer Instinct. Remember they also had Rare members working together with a group that they hired specifically for KI. In this case it would be likely for that team to go to Rare or form their own studio. Just my take on it though. Either way, MSFT said KI is fine and that the team is not changing, even saying once that they kept the internal KI team is still here.
