Also saw something about the new Xbox One controller, coming June 8th, which includes a headphone port and stuff. What do you guys think?

Indeed. No doubt that's true for a lot of people but if I were planniing on getting a new controller I might get this one for simplicity. Don't really use headphones all too much though, but having it all in one package is always nice!

Yeah I can see your point True, but I'm glad they have something... If E3 is sparse, then I'll have issues.

are the batteries in the controller easily rechargeable or do you have to keep buying new ones like for the stupid wii motes?

yeah but think of it this way.  if they showed everything at e3 then not every game would a decent amount of time to shine.  but by saving some stuff tfor gamescom they can give games a longer time to shine.

ex: everything shown at e3 avg trailer 1min.  save some for gamescom: avg trailer 3min

Wii mote... You need two Double AA's. I use the rechargable battery pack (has to be bought separately though).
