Every other genre is selling better on ps 4 than xbox one. So xbox one have no fanbase at all ? This logic is stupid. After release you can tell how well  the Witcher 3  have sold on xbox one and not from Amazon  charts.

PS2 dominated Xbox but gamers would say get an Xbox if you like WRPG's (Jade Empire/Morowwing/kotor1/2...)
With Xbox 360 with  Witcher/Witcher2/Ego Draconis/risen/Fable2/3, etc...

It is remarkable that PS4 pre orders are so high when Witcher never released on a PS system and MS has the marketing rights for the game.  Even WRPG's like Risen 3 don't release on Xbox one.  Honestly MS is not trying hard to create the xbox one the place to be for Wrpg fans.

In 5 years from now you can say get an xbox one to play many great rpgs but not now because the console is above 1 year on the market. Well from a system that have sold 22 Mio i expect that games on the system are selling 1 mio more than on xbox one.

You miss the point, the Xbox sold only 24 million and PS2 aboven 150 million still people would say get an Xbox if you like the WRPG's. So console sales should not be a factor. The guys behind the console are the ones to blame if they can't manage it to make attractive for the majority of WRPG fans because that was one thing Xbox consoles always dominated.

I'm facepalming through the rpg conversation. Big rpgs will do just fine. Some people really like to complain

If you are living in India you are going to buy witcher 3 on Xbox one digital because the game is available for $40. So digital sales will be more not sure about other countries.

If things like EA access get bigger I think companies might start doing this and imo its great. They can have two bundles one which is similar to EA Access other can be where you pay more money and get all games on launch lets say somewhere between $80-$100 per year. This way people buy more of these services and they can rely on better DLC sales if they actually start making good DLC.

Why models like EA access are sustainable and can bring loads of money to developers. So we have lot of people who desire to buy games but are not able to buy them because of the high price tag and priorities are different. However these type of services allow those number of people to jump on board. In my case my game collection does not has many EA games hell only 1 or 2 but I have always had the desire to play few of the titles but due to other games coming they simply don't fit in my gaming budget. But thanks to EA access I get to play them that to for cheap. For $30 or Rs 1990(Indian Currency). The amount you pay is cheaper than the price of BF4. In addition to this you get discounts and all which is cool.

If EA can get more people on board this service is bound to be success.

hmm...why do you say that the x1's real numbers are "well below" the 12 million mark?

Just my opinion considering we don't have official numbers.

was just curious what you were basing that off of, that's all.

Software data is useless these days. Digital gets bigger and bigger and nobody tracks it. Most people I know buy everything digital, anectodal I know, but still.....physical media has pretty much had it's day. In 10 years kids won't even remember wtf a disc is

this is honestly the first gen where I've bought anything digital, tbh.

on the x360, all of my content was from discs.

on my xbox one, literally everything on there is digitally bought.  i think the only disc I'll buy is the halo 5 collectors edition.

Only physical game I have is a gift.
