Someone Famous Recorded Lines For Halo 5: Guardians

by Damian Seeto on April 30, 2015

343 Industries has teased that someone fans will love just recorded lines for Halo 5: Guardians recently.

343 Industries’ development director, Frank O’Connor, tweeted:

Hardcore Halo lore fans would lose their minds if they knew who’s voice we recorded today

This means a certain famous character will be in Halo 5: Guardians. The most logical choice is Cortana. Some people weren’t sure if she would be in the new game. If you played Halo 4, you may know already what happens to her.

Cortana being in Halo 5: Guardians is a possibility anyway. Neither Microsoft or 343 Industries have confirmed her role in the game yet. Voice of Spartan Locke (Mike Coulter) admitted in an interview she would be in the game though.

Frank O’Connor followed up in another tweet that a fan guessed correctly on who the famous voice is in Halo 5: Guardians. He said: “Somebody guessed it. That’s all I’ll say on the matter“.

The only guess I see that make sense for Halo 5: Guardians is the voice for Cortana. A lot of fans left some outlandish replies. One person said Brad Pitt while another person suggested Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Either way, there should be several new characters revealed in Halo 5: Guardians. So far, we only know that Spartan Locke and Master Chief are in the game.

Well, if it's something only hardcore fans would know, it can't really be anyone that we've seen in the games, right? I'm going to guess Mendicant Bias, voiced by someone well-known.

Around the Network

My most anticipated games are Halo 5, Gears, Quantum Break, maybe COD: BO2 and almost every Xbox exclusive.

Proud to be a Californian.

Most anticipated games for e3 are Halo 5, Gears, New ips, Rise of the tomb raider, forza 6, multiplayer for bo3 cause I won't to see how much similar is it to Titanfall, Assassins Creed Victory, The Division,

Regarding the discussion Xbox One is shooterbox it is wrong.

I couldn't agree more especially how shooters are selling more on PS4.

I also might see double standards about this.

It's not just about sales on one vs. the other. I'm talking what mainly sells, and let's be honest it is shooters. I'm not saying that's bad though. Sunset was my GOTY last year and it's a shooter. Maybe labeleing it as a "shooterbox" was wrong, but there's no denying it's the most popular genre that stems from the brand, but again, that's not necessarily a bad thing; Plats vs. Zombies, Titanfall, Sunset, Metro Redux, Wolfenstein, etc.

Best thing that could come out of E3? Scalebound gameplay and Rise of the Tomb RRaider; ignoring possible new IPs ofcourse.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Wow, just saw where CD Projekt said that reviews for Witcher 3 will be up a week before it releases. Now that's what I call confidence, they know that Witcher 3 is going to blow people's socks off, no reason to lift the review embargo a day before release like some publishers do to try and decieve people into buying the game before reading the reviews.

That and the fact that it's a single player game so they don't need online servers I believe.
