Catherine is great, they didn't explore the gameplay enough to understand.
Not sure if I'd want a sequel tho dunno what they can do with it.

Catherine is the weakest Atlus game gameplay-wise, in my opinion. Even Trauma Center had much better gameplay.
The plot and the characters are all awesome, and that's why I put it ahead of most Atlus games, on the other hand. :)

Oh, well, as I said to Tiago, I'd say the gameplay isn't nothing particulary great; it is the story that carries out the game's strenght. The fact that you have tons of (albeit dual - either Chaos or Law) moral choices to make, some huge conversational branches, subtle sidequests that further add to the story, some strange and unique plot twists and more than 6 possible endings make it a worthwile game, I assure you.
Heck, I bet Slade agrees with me that the story was excepcionally good.

I got addicted to it, probably the only puzzle game I ever enjoyed. (If I'm not missing any)
that's why I can't see a sequel, it feels so close. Unless they change it completely, different setting all together.

Never played any of those.
I said miss in a sense of stuff I played, for example I completed braid while playing catherine.. And it was one of the worse gaming experiences I ever had the chance to put my hands on. Just terrible.

The story really was the highlight, one of the best of the 7th gen
That gameplay and puzzle solving was frustrating as hell though

Well I mean... that's your prerogative, but I like talking about Japanese games. What I don't like is the port begging, which I've been guilty of in the past make no mistakes, for Japanese support on Xbox. I love talking about the actual games though.
I personally don't like the Halo talk that much, but I just ignore it and come back later. Again, just my two cents.
