So GAF is saying Corrinne Yu (Bungie/343) is ntkrnl. Personally always thought she was CBOAT.

Cross play is a given at this point.
shikamaru317 said: I hope MS announces something truly huge, such as the ability to play PC games on Xbox One, game streaming to/from PC/XB1/Windows Phone, and achievements for PC games. Don't want crossplay, it's too unfair for console users.
Just make it optional. XB1 owners can tick who they get paird up with, either just XB1 owners, or both XB1 owners and PC owners. PC owners get to chose if they get paird up with PC owners or XB1 and PC owners.
That way those that want PC vs PC and XB1 vs XB1 will reach the whole audience, and the ones that get XB1 vs PC are the ones that truly want it.
shikamaru317 said: I have to wonder though if that's something MS can enable into the OS across all games, or if it's something that each developer would have to integrate into their matchmaking system? If each developer had to do it themselves I fear that some wouldn't bother with the extra work and would just force console and PC players to play together. Obviously making Crossplay user optional would be ideal, the lack of Crossplay is keeping some games from coming to Xbox One, I believe Square Enix said that was the reason why FFXIV isn't on Xbox One yet.
Do you like FFXIV? I haven't tried that one. I've played FFXI awhile back so I'd probably like XIV. I don't know about being on Xbox One though unless it's F2P. But I'm guessing it's $15 a month or so and needing an XBLG subscription.

shikamaru317 said: I haven't played it either. I doubt I would even if it came to Xbox One because I'm pretty sure it's P2P.
Well I probably wouldn't play it on Xbox One because playing an FF MMO with a controller sounds like it would be a PITA compared to playing it on PC.
Did The Witcher 2 on Xbox get sorted out yet? And did you remember that jprg game you was trying to find last night?

shikamaru317 said: I actually hear that FF XIV is pretty intuitive on a controller. Supposedly the PS3/PS4 versions are quite good. Witcher 2 was issue was sorted out for me last night, I finished downloading it already. No, I still don't remember the name of that other indie JRPG. Guess we'll find out about it again closer to release.
Nice I thought it would have been a pain especially since FFXI had a lot of macros and commands to type in.
I added in my codes so got 16 days of gold now and just started downloading D4 on the X1. When that's done I'll try the Witcher 2 with the Xbox 360 in the living room. Dat D4 file size, I didn't think it was that big lol.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention. I started Assassin's Creed Unity earlier today and I just walked through a crowd with hundreds of people all piled up and didn't notice any frame dips. Just wanted to let you know since you wanted to rent it. So far I haven't ran into any problems.
