Fuck this console exclusive shit. I want to have the choice of playing these games on the console which I want to play on, and want both PS4/XB1 gamers to enjoy these games. I can't believe you guys are advocating this kind of business, you never know when it might come to bite you.

Its business not a charity.  Im glad these games are being made period.  Ill get them regardless of what they come out for.  Self entitlement is the problem i have with it rather than issues with MSFT/Sony

I'm sure most of the games you guys are listing will be made even wihout moneyhats. That's why I'm saying it shouldn't happen. If its a game like Scalebound I definitely am happy that MS is funding it but I am not happy that they did this with ROTTR which would have come to more platforms otherwise.

Ill say again, its a business, not a charity.  Do you think Microsoft had the intentions of helping sony out when making a deal for Tomb Raider?  Do you think Sony had the intentions to help MSFT when making a deal with Stree Fighter?  Hell no.  Its about giving incentive to buy their console.  That is what ANY exclusive is.  An incentive.  Whether it be Naughty Dog, Rare, a third party, or whatever.  Its all incentives to buy their product and theyre certainly not trying to help out their competition.  And as a consumer you have no right to tell a company that you dont support, that they shouldnt do that.  You either support them or you dont, but you certainly arent entitled.  You want to be, then make your own company and publish the game yourself.

Agreed, I feel like timed exclusives are a waste of time.

You're not getting it. The thing you stated is exactly the reason why I'm saying moneyhats should not happen. It goes for Sony as well. If you really want to compete, market you're console, increase and improve your first party output and bring features to your console. Making multiplats exclusive to your console only prevents others from playing them, it doesn't really increase your own output.

What I'm saying makes sense as a gamer, not as a businessman. I hope as a gamer you too agree, even if you wouldn't agree to this a businessman.

The difference between first party and third party exclusives is names.  Both are the same thing in the end.  I give you money and you dont put it on another console.

And no i dont agree.  I dont expect a company to make no moves or no attempts to widen their userbase

I'm not against 3rd party moneyhats, It's not like MS and Sony moneyhat 10 different games every year so I don't see why people make a big deal about them.

Edit* Major games that is.

Wow, millions of people have played Killer Instinct 3 on Xbox one o.O  its also been #1 on the store at pretty much all times since launch

Proud to be a Californian.

Can you please stop begging for time exclusive games ? What Microsoft needs are Ips that they own. I buy Xbox for amazing franchises like Halo, Gears and Forza and not for time exclusive crap. They need new Ips, sequels and old ips that they own for the portfolio to sty relevant for the long time business. With Ips like State of Decay. Quantum Break and Scalebound they trying to establish the next Halo, Gears and Forza like Ips. Besides that they have many other great Ips like Ori, Crackdown and Phantom Dust.
