Did it have any story? Didn't notice it lol
But yeah.. I don't like sandbox games.

Now thats a game im excited for. Much more excited to see Scalebound and Phantom Dust than Crackdown
Speaking of Scalebound, does anyone know what type of game it'll be? Like action / adventure or an RPG or something.

Same here, can't wait see both in action. I never played phantom dust (as I said), but it sounds amazing from the videos.
Scalebound is bound to be great imo

Uh oh I hope it'll have a single player story. I had to skip a lot of games this year and next year since they're online only.

Hopefully it will feature jrpg alike story. But it's still too unknown to predict, at the very least it seems to be more ambitious than usual aka more budget.

Pretty much what they've said about it is "it's unlike anything we've made previously" (which hints that it's not a pure hack and slash), "we are not building this as a linear boss driven game, the player can go back and replay things and [explore]" (which hints that it's open world), "we are not building this to be a short game, but something that players will want to play for longer sessions" (which hints that it's an RPG of some sort, since RPG's are longer than other genres typically, and probably an action RPG since Platinum has so much action experience). And in response to questions about multiplayer they said "if you go back and watch the trailer, every shot counts, every shot means something {about the game], you might see something there" and at the end of the trailer some other dragon riders do show up, which hints at multiplayer, probably co-op multiplayer. |
Nice, I'd be pretty stoked if it turns out as an RPG. I love games that takes many many hours to complete. That's why I was asking earlier this late morning about DA:I or Mordor on time length. So I'm going to get DA.

Pretty good analysis there
