Since I got my One I finally played a game. Peggle 2 is extremely addictive. My God, how do some of you do so well in it? Clearing all pegs? Never even gotten close yet. Love how the achievements are shown as well.

Peggle and Zuma are a lot of peoples guilty pleasures to dissappear into for way too long. Telling you, if I get reincarnated as a marble shooting frog I'm sorted....

Microsoft still being Discreet about Halo and if it is Halo 5 or not

Halo for Xbox One is Halo 5, Xbox Australia says [UPDATE]

Microsoft says the post was made in error.

by Eddie Makuch

[UPDATE] A Microsoft representative told GameSpot, "This post was made in error, and we will be updating it shortly. We have made no announcements regarding the name of Halo on Xbox One. As we have stated previously, the award-winning franchise continues on Xbox One, beginning in 2014. We have no further details to share at this time."

The original story is below.

The all-new Halo game Microsoft announced for Xbox One at E3 2013 in June is Halo 5, not a spinoff, according to aFacebook post today from Xbox Australia.

As part of an ongoing series of reasons to buy an Xbox One in 2014, Microsoft said, "Reason #14 - The Prometheans and Covenant just won't give John-117 a break! Master Chief returns for the thrilling continuation of the Reclaimer Saga in Halo 5."

In June, former Xbox boss Don Mattrick referred to the new Halo game as Halo 5.

However, Microsoft Game Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer declined to say if this game was Halo 5 when approached by GameSpot earlier this year. He only described the game as "legitimate."

We've reached out to Microsoft for comment on today's report, but were unable to reach a company representative at press time.

Microsoft has released only one trailer for the next Halo game, showing off Master Chief in the desert. The all-new Halo game launches in 2014 on Xbox One, following Halo: Spartan Assault, which launched for the new system just this week.

Quickscoping Ineffective in TitanFall

Snipers confirmed for Titanfall, but quick-scoping and no-scoping are "ineffective"

Respawn says sniping in upcoming online shooter is a "pretty different animal" compared to other military shooters.

by Eddie Makuch

Like most military shooters, Titanfall will feature sniper rifles. But the way these weapons work in the game will vary drastically from what players have come to expect in Call of Duty or Battlefield games, Respawn said on the game's forums recently.

"Sniping is in the game, but due to how the game plays it's a pretty different animal than you'll find in your run of the mill modern military shooter," a Respawn representative said. "Quick-scoping and no-scoping are ineffective."

Quick-scoping and no-scoping are methods by which players can dramatically increase their fire rate and lethality by manipulating the way virtual rifles work. It's not clear, however, what systems Respawn has in place for Titanfall to make no-scoping and quick-scoping ineffective.

Answers are likely to come soon, as Titanfall's March 11 launch date is just three months away now. For more on Titanfall, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

microsoft TV is coming some time in 2014. however Im not sure if this has really been discussed yet, but I do believe that this will be an application sold like a premium channel like HBO, Starz, etc.

We know that Microsoft is making Halo with Steven Spieldberg as the director and they plan on bringing back Heroes with a new cast.

Microsoft has been testing things out with a lot of their games in the last few years as well including Halo: Forward Unto Dawn, Alan Wake, and Ryse: Son of Rome. They even created Microsoft Los Angelos Studios which are working on Quantum Break.

Because all of this I have reason to believe that this Premium Channel App will push advertising for multiple games while also having new shows entirely. microsoft seems to like CGI and special lighting effects in their stuff as well.

Anyways would you all pay for a premium service like this? For me I would if the shows are good enough, just like HBO.

Another question, if they were to make shows out of games what games would you like to see made into a show?

lol Do we have to wait till E3 to see the title? C'mon

So you saying we will have to pay to watch the TV Shows? I would pay to watch Quantum Break and Halo Tv Show, Would like Alan Wake and Gears Of War TV show as well, The first TV show is about them digging up E.T Cartridges though which was a game that flopped massively so they buried all them somewhere Lol....

I don't know if it's Halo 5 or not =/ Why not just admit it just because they don't have a name? Lol I wouldn't mind if it wasn't Halo 5 though since it gives 343 more time to work on it

My guess would be yes.  It costs a lot of money to make high quality shows so they could try and do a premium channel thing exclusively to XBO.  They will prob bring it to Windows 8 as well if that is the case.

It'll be nice if they just made it free for gold members lol

As i mentioned before it costs a lot of money to make shows, especially if theyre high quality.  I doubt theyll be giving them away for free.

@shikamaru - Quantum Break the show comes with the game.  Quantum Break is setup in episode format like Alan Wake but once you beat an episode you unlock a part of the show that is based off your decisions.

I very much doubt it would be free and Tbh it is going to cost them allot to make these TV Shows especially since Stephen Spielberg is part of Halo Lol They won't be making any money from them and it will cost them millions to make it =/ Makes sense that they will makes us pay or I would rather they just increase Gold by a little so I don't have to have two subscriptions at the same time..

Another Xbox Service has been rumored for a long time by fans.  I believe they call it Xbox Platinum or something like that.  $100 a year instead of $60

They could run commercials or something. Not to mention people are paying for gold so it's not like they're completely free, it'll be like an extra incentive to get gold. If not I guess if they're reasonably priced I would for Halo, or maybe wait till the Blu ray release.
