I bought the Ass Creed bundle and downloaded the game here in US. I sent it to my brother overseas and he said that the game is asking for internet connectivity.

Pretty sure they can. I think I've played some offline myself. 

I mean my brother has no internet connection at the moment. So his console is offline.

Both games or just 1 of them? It could be that a new patch has been released for AC Unity which is a required download. Doubt there'd be a new patch for Black Flag though considering how old it is. 

Both I believe. I have to talk to him some more to get finer details. Thanks for the help guys.

Maybe but I think the indies the X1 is getting are good enough. There's just way too many indies on the PS4 now and only a couple of them will do well. Moreover, indie devs don't have the budget to release on multiple platforms so they will just go with the PS4 since that has the largest install base. No matter how hard MS tries, indies will still go with the PS4. There's not much MS can do about that unless they want to start funding the development of some of those games.

I think Sony paid for SOMA and some other games but yeah, even without it they would probably get more games because MS still didn't change some stuff they don't like.

I want MS t be radio silent until E3, all the while burning a hole in their chequebook, then explode E3 onwards.

Fallout 4 exclusivity would be great.

E3 is nice and all but imo MS has a lot to cover and people at E3 don't want to see family games, Kinect games, PC gaming, W8 gaming etc. I think MS should have an event where it's ok for them to talk about games not necessarily on Xbox One. Next year when they roll out their plans about Windows 10 they should hold a yearly event talking about all of those and dedicate E3 to bigger Xbox games.
