Well, if you have it in power mode it'll never be completely off unless you unplug the cable or change the settings. It wastes very little power in low state mode tho, and barely generates any hear even when running a disc!!

I'm a Nintendo fanboy? of the 4 games I've given a 10 to on there included Driver 3d by ubisoft and Theatrhythm Final fantasy I was unaware of SquareEnix and Ubisofts purchase by Nintendo if I'm honest with you.

The reason the majority of my reviews on Metacritic are bad reviews is because I do not see the point in putting another good review to a game which has 500+ positive reviews, it's pointless, to me that is the same as pouring a glass of water into a swimming pool and an utter waste of time.

The games I did give a bad negitive score to are mostly either based on day 1 having 30 brand new accounts appear on metacritic all to claim the game is a 100% masterpiece such as the remake of flashback, THPSHD and TMNT OoTS, many of which I got on day one based both on hype and these utterly shill accounts which are being made by people with an invested interest in the games selling but all it leads to is horribly let down people who buy the games based on this fact, it damages both the integrity of all user reviews on metacritic and XBLA games in general. I've said it so many different ways, but if you try to convince the buyer of a game for your system that the game is loved by every other person who buys it then that person can come away from that purchase feeling that the "100%" games of that system, the best it has to offer... are a dissappointment, and that damages the chances those people will come back and buy more XBLA games.

Few other bad reviews are just based on games which had a massive possitive review but still I played them and just couldn't stop myself from being knocked out of the atmosphere by flaws I was encountering throughout my singularity review is one such as this and I consider it a good read (subject to opinion of course)

Did you ever even stop to look at the lack of Nintendo console bad or good reviews and think that perhaps I didn't infact own many wii games or a Wii-u?

As for why someone with this excessive about of Xbox love has never once shown their face in This thread, the psnation or the Nintendomination or whatever their thread is called. Guys, these threads are very very uninviting to new users, even someone who has been here for over 2 years these massive threads are very unenvolving without there being some form of index or sub forum systems. This is literally my first post in any of the 3 only due to being called out and having an external account linked here as an >>>EXPOSED<<< sort of thing. There is often talk about why there isn't as many Xbox fans on this site, could be that there is, but they simply don't want to be part of a community where people would try to start some form of a witch hunt to one of the pro posting Xbox people here for putting a low score on a game being shill boosted on meta critic?

Nah dude, this thread is extremely welcoming. I've been posting less than 1000 times on this website and always get great feedback from my fellow Xbox users. I've seen new users pop in here as well in the last month; great time to be an Xbox fan. IMO, this is the best thread on this site.

"all those people on here who are obviously part of the dev team and PR team making accounts here to upvote their own game with fake user reviews? you guys know we can click on your account name and see that the account was made to do one thing, review this small indie"esque" game with a big fat 10 and lie to gamers to try and trick them into buying your game? it's rubbish behavior really, because rather than making someone think that they just don't happen to like a game that everyone gave a 100% score to.... this could equally make people think this mediocre offering was the best the X1 and the new arcade titles would have to offer and not dip into it again, you damage your future sales and the very people who would buy your titles.

Hmm, MMMYEAH, tldr (the crotchity post)^^^

Anyway, played around with the box today a few different times and it's awesome. Voice controls aren't 100% for me but definitely in the mid/high 90's and I can absolutely live with that. Max is the shit, DR3 looks pretty cool but I don't know if I'll play it and Spartan Assault looks great but I only watched my kid play it a little, he loves it btw. I had Ryse DLing for several hrs. starting from the am and I forgot completely about it but I'm heading up to check it out soon. So far in my very minimal time with it, no issues and I'm absolutely loving the One as are my kids.

I think back since E3 and ALL of the interwebz/Gaf bullshit that went down and the absolute beating the One took, even after the 180, and all I can do is chuckle because this thing completely kicks ass.....so far.

Nice guys, I was able to play a little bit today. I had to go to work for a while though. Then head to my sister's to do some heavy lifting up some flights of stairs. All while my girlfriend and mom were messing around with my Xbox. I really need to finish Peggle 2 so I never have to play that game ever again lol

just an addition btw to point out what shill advertisers means, it is where people claim to be a buyer of a product and have loved it just to make it appear as tho it is worth buying you can normally see them pretty clearly on metacritic as it will be an account just made for boosting that 1 game they are invested in.

Maybe the Dheald23 person is legit because they at least downrated Killzone but the rest just scream of being injected good reviews and their language is far too official for a random fans first time review, often quoting the MS price of the game or it's genre in a way only PR reps would do.

Your excuses are so weak, why do you even care what the user meta score is? Nobody takes notice of them when deciding to purchase a game.
