Hmm i still wonder if conker & banjo will ever make a comeback for the xbox one.

I dont think Conker will anytime soon but I believe Banjo will for sure as Rare already said that internally a lot of people want to do another Banjo game.

If they do then let hope it not like Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. That game dissapoint a lot of fans and felt like a lego racing game than a 3d platform game.

Yeah.  It was a good game, just not as good as the platforming banjo games.  It'll likely be back to the original style again as Rare seems to be focused on core developement right now.

From my guess one of their announcements will be a new ip and the other will be an old franchise.  They were hiring for shooters and adventure games in specific.  The games that fit that criteria are Perfect Dark, Banjo or conker (If you consider them as adventure), Kameo, and Jet Force Gemini.

Did you guys know that you can check your internet speed from the Xbox One? I'm not on it right now but I think its settings then network and an option on the right saying to test it. It shows download/upload and other stuff too.

Real talk, right now and especially in the past few months the XBONE has been in a bad situation. Microsoft realised this when they did their 180s. It means it's very unlikely for the next Halo to redefine the franchise. Right now what they need is a Halo 3 2.0. A classic game that gets all the old fans to buy the system. They'll take risks with the next game.

Im not so certain that XBO has been in near as bad of a situation as people on forums made it out to be.  Plus Microsoft has been gearing up with first party developers for multiple years, not just the last 6 months.  Same goes with Halo. The DRM turnaround very likely didnt effect 343i what so ever. The 180's to this day are little over exagerated after the moment they took down DRM.

I dont mind if they take risks with the game but they need to stay true to the halo fanbase as well.

Without the 180s the XBONE was DOA. It's hard to argue otherwise. I'm not saying the DRM turnaround effected 343, but that the the thought processes behind the 180s did. You can see a perfect example of this with Titanfall becoming a lifetime exclusive. Microsoft will do whatever it can to "save" the system. That includes pushing a traditional Halo instead of taking risks.

Open world does not fly in the face of Halo, and it was not the campaign people were complaining about the most.

Plus, "traditional" is very hard to define because from the day Halo 2 was released people started to complain and claim that their favorite Halo was the best. Halo isn't getting worse from one title to another, it's getting old. With all the heaps of AAA games Halo needs to stand out (once again) in order to be (more) successful), that's why (or at least in my opinion) 343i has to take risks for Halo to become bigger.

But at the same time they HAVE to stick with the core and SHOULD consider the competitive scene while designing multiplayer, so I think this idea of both "classical" arena multiplayer and a more risky/crazy/callitwhatyouwant multiplayer is not completely unlikely.

Nice list ^^ plus tons of indies coming.

WOW, those Halo 5 rumors make the game sounds amazing! I wonder what the budget will be? :O

If MS will do whatever they can to save it, then a simple bundle without kinect with a much cheaper price should solve the problem.

this was months ago when it was taken down and TitanFall was an exclusive before DRM was taken down.  There was never any confirmation of it being a timed exclusive otherwise.  A business(not only MSFT) are going to do what is in their best interest to set them up for a strategic victory so if that means buying TitanFall then that is what they're going to do.  DRM has nothing to do with that.  Microsoft buys third party exclusives more than any other company simply because they can, and simply because it gives them an advantage.

Third party exclusives and first party exclusives really arent much different.  You pay a company to build a game for you and to keep it away from competitors for an advantage.

The turnaround or 180 (singular)  considering on what words you want to use and Halo have nothing to do with each other in any shape or form.  Games were already in developement before the turnaround and Halo 4 has already taken a risk and by playing it you should know this.  It also sold extremely well but the multiplayer crowd didnt stay as long as they did in older games.  That is the part that 343i will need to figure out, nothing to do with it being bad, turnarounds, or with the story.  The multiplayer just wasnt as addicting as it was when halo 3 came out, partially because more competition now.

Halo set the world on fire and became the premier multiplayer FPS and story FPS.  Since then it has gotten competition with Battlefield and Call of Duty.  Each game plays differently and unique to their own but it also has split the multiplayer from Halo in ways.

To add to that the Halo community did not like 343i adding instant respawns and ordinance drops.  This changed halo up a lot which is what they need to fix.

EDIT:  Just letting you know that Im not trying to be harsh with you, i just see you as wrong on this one is all.  You're a preet cool guy in my book :)

The chances of MS buying Epic games is really low. Not worth the insane amount of cash it would cost to purchase them. While other studios like Remedy for example would cost a lot less to buy out and produce quality games.
