^^ wow! Those are some insane statistics...the X1 fanbase sure is plowing away at those games.

Forza 5 averages out to be roughly 140 miles per person that owns the game.

Ryse averages out to be over 350 enemies killed per person that owns the game.

And Dead Rising 3 is the insane one with about 4,200 kills per person.

Note: all of these were very generous calculations where I took the first weeks sales and almost doubled it to include the second week of sales and other people that will have played the game but not own it.

some random numbers

That's 1 million buyers killing 3000 zombies, or 250k killing 12,000. Given your average user won't be anywhere near that, but then a fair few more than double that ... hmm.

This clearly means I'm going insane waiting for solid sales data!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, you're supposed to slaughter around 10k to 25k (if you play Story Mode), so the number might change.

Xbox One Outsells PS4 at Walmart and Target on Black Friday: http://www.vgchartz.com/article/251418/xbox-one-outsells-ps4-at-walmart-and-target-on-black-friday/

Interesting.  I said this a while ago (Even before black friday) and we had someone come in here and argue it.  I mean really, it was pretty clear Sony was focusing on the European launch.  People need to think about the things they say sometime.

XBONE probably did outsell PS4 on BF since we have tons of store workers saying they received more units. Those anecdotal accounts though have way more merit than the silly graphs that infoscout put out. The news has been posted about a million times by now, but every article has infoscout as the source. This is like the tenth (slightly exaggerated) time a user has posted this news in the thread. You even posted it (just the target half) here and already commented about both the target and wall-mart numbers here. That's fine but there's nothing new or interesting about it. People need to think about the things they say sometime ;)

I posted our stock well before any of these infoscout reports.  And you're right there is nothing new and interesting about it except that there are certain people coming in here arguing about it.  Why do I say people need to think about things they say?  To argue with more than one source by this point and eventually these numbers will be confirmed by VGC in about a week it is just going to make the people arguing about it look childish for arguing against.  Take this thread for example.http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=173636

Why is it so important that Sony "must" win Black Friday?  They will have dominated in Europe and likely win world wide during Black Friday week but there is certain people who will refuse that they cant win in every single country even when it has been talked about extensively from multiple sources the supply constrain in America for PS4.

Better make as many as possible then so they don't fall too far behind in the UK/US.

You work at a retail store? I didn't know that.
