I know I say I like every console manufacturer but honestly I was never a fan of SEGA. Oddly enough I did really like Dreamcast though(Sonic Adventures 2 and Furfighters) and look at how that turned out. Maybe I was the one who secretly killed it O.O

Sega made mistakes, but Sony played a big part in their demise. Sony announced the first Playstation and since Sony was already a big name electronics company, the Playstation was gaining a ton of hype just from Sony's name. Sega was left with a difficult choice, release the Saturn early without much software support, or release it at around the same time as the Playstation and get killed by the hype surrounding the Playstation. Sega made the difficult decision to announce an early price and an early release date to try and get an established playerbase going before the Playstation released, but then Sony decided to be douchey, because Sega announced their price first, just like Microsoft did this time, Sony decided to purposefully undercut Sega's price, killing most of the hype surrounding the Saturn. That early damage hurt the Saturn throughout the 5th gen, and though Sega made a fantastic product with the Dreamcast, the huge playerbase Sony had built up with the first Playstation allowed the announcement of the PS2 to completely kill the demand for the Dreamcast, and Sega was forced to bow out of the console business. I will never forget what Sony did.


So...You're mad at Sony for playing  it alittle bit smarter?

And the thing about the Dreamcast, I would have launched that thing in 02' at latest. It was ahead of it's time by the way. and it could've gone head to head with the Xbox One( not this one) as far as online gaming.
