I'v enot used a blu ray disc yet but I downloaded the app! Doesn't get hot at all.

So you have to download an app to play blu-rays? I never heard that, that is free right? 

I guess that's so they only have to pay royalties to people who actually use Blu-ray movies on it to the Blu-ray Association. Pretty clever move.

Tried Xbox Fitness this morning. Just a 10 minute workout after I got back from gym. Works great definite new addition to our families work outs. Wife and I decided to reward our kids based on fitness points they earn each month.

Now watching son play DR3 before Bears game starts. He has his fantasy team snapped. Totally cool.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

I reckon next Blackfriday you'll be able to get both for $500 and a game.

I just remembered that MLG is sticking with the Xbox brand, so the competitive players will be choosing Xbox One as their main platform. Interesting

Wow so many replies!

Well I finally got internet at the new place and sadly I still have not played the X1 at all other than to quickly sign in today when we got internet hooked up. Hopefully I'll be able to play it tomorrow and then I'll post my initial impressions (it's pretty ironic that I was so excited to get it on Friday but won't be able to play until tomorrow >_>)

But my thoughts so far on what I've seen is the interface looks great, it's fluid, and the build quality on everything is seemingly very good. The controller feels utterly amazing and Kinect seems to work very nicely so far.

I'm not very happy though that my pre-ordered day one X1 didn't come with a free game (pure BS IMO) and it only came with a 14 day live trial instead of a free year like I was supposed to get. Great customer loyalty MS >_>


Anyways, I'm off to go catch up on homework. See ya'll later!
