E3 2014: $399 Xbox One Out Now, Xbox 360 Sales Rise to 84 million

New, Kinect-free bundle now available, as Xbox 360 sales continue to climb.

As promised, the $399 Kinect-free Xbox One is now available at retailers around the world. Just last week, the company launched a new advertisement campaign for the system, enlisting the help of Breaking Badactor Aaron Paul to promote the system.

Microsoft will start selling standalone Kinect cameras for the Xbox One later this year, though pricing has not been announced.

"Today we're thrilled to offer our fans more choices to play the games they love and to enjoy all of their entertainment with the new Xbox One option for $399," Xbox marketing executive Yusuf Mehdi said in a statement.

Microsoft also announced today that Xbox 360 sales have risen to 84 million units sold (up from 80 million units), with lifetime game sales for the platform now hitting $37.7 billion. Lastly, Microsoft says that Xbox 360 gamers have now logged more than 88 billion hours of gameplay, which is equivalent to more than 100,000 centuries.

Apparently No Mans Sky will be at E3 =( Will be annoyed if Sony gets it at their conference since MS didn't Lol...

well it wasnt at any of the others so start being annoyed but ill doubt its exclusive

With Halo 5 beta being in December, ntkrnl might as well be regarded as an actual controlled leak. So much crap he got right, with knowledge of far off projects, and right before the bad January NPD, there is no other option. Unless of course he wanted to see the world burn.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

That Ori game really hit me once I remembered it watching Ubi's conference. Looks amazing!
My favorite takeaways from MS' conference
Halo Master Chief Collection, Phantom Dust, Ori, and Scalebound!

1. Halo Collection.  Weird how that game got me excited as it did since i pretty much already knew about it, but they did it perfectly with the original engines of each game and 100 multiplayer maps.  Not sure if a game has ever had that much content in one package xD AAA that is.

2. Ori.  We all knew Microsoft bought the IP a while back but i think most of us expected a mobile game.  Blew me away.  Made me sad and i havent even played it yet.  Day 1.

3.  Phantom Dust.  Not really sure if its a reboot or remake but still makes me happy.

4.  Conker in Project Spark.  Even though its a huge kick in the balls im still excited.  I hope they have a little pre-made story for it.

5.  Forza Horizon2 and Sunset Overdrive.  Could be higher but we already knew about them.

6.  Crackdown and Fable.  Just not a big fan of either one of these francises.  Havent decided if i want them yet.

Then there was Non-MSFT stuff

1.  Tomb Raider.  When i first saw it i though Perfect Dark.  Was ready to go insane.  Then i saw her jump off a cliff.  Was upset and excited at the same time lol

2.  Inside -  Limbo people xD  Looked like a really interesting game just like limbo.

3.  The Witcher.  Def need to play Witcher II.  Seriously looked great

“Rip Tide GP2” by Vector Unit – Get ready for adrenaline-inducing water racing action with “Riptide GP2,” from the makers of “Hydro Thunder Hurricane.” “Riptide GP2” kicks everything into overdrive delivering intense online head-to-head multiplayer, 6 player split screen, upgradable hydro jets, enhanced graphics, stunts, and realistic wave-filled action.

i instantly jizzed when i saw a race game with water and made by these guys fuck yes

Actually I didn't like Inside. I wasn't a fan of Limbo and it looks so similar to that.

man xbox has a lot of betas coming to it

I'm so happy about halo, best news so far at e3 (rainbow six and witcher 3 looked badass though)
All the multiplayer and single player. A ranking system similar to halo 2's. the halo show and beta. Is is a 120$ value easy. I bet this sells at least 4 million copies possibly as high as 6 or 7 million. 100 maps, 45 campaign missions, spartan ops, forge. Only thing missing it sounds like is firefight but that's ok.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Evolve is one of my most anticipated games right now, so I'm glad we're getting a beta. Don't care for destiny or fable though.

That collection should be at least $100
