No here $100 is $60 US for games. WiiU games however are only $80.

So Halo is listed at US$60

Are you sure about that? I see $60 US games listed for $80 AUD on Dick Smith's website:

I was thinking the same thing xD

Phantom Dust number one trend right now? :O

After more than a decade out of the spotlight, Rare's vulgar squirrel is back – and you can create his next adventure.

Rare's M-rated mascot made a surprise appearance during a trailer for Project Spark at Microsoft's E3 press conference. The video announced that Team Dakota's game maker is getting a new "Galaxies" tile set, allowing armchair developers to create sci-fi themed worlds and games.

At the end of the video, however, a chainsaw-wielding Conker appeared to announce that he'd also be available in an update, which we assume will also include other characters and assets from Conker's Bad Fur Day. It might not be the sequel longtime Rare fans have wanted, but at least it's something.

So overall a fairly lukewarm conference to kick things off.

Hopefully we can return to normality...yeah that ain't happening.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

When Ken Lobb took the stage at Microsoft's E3 press conference, he was flanked by Killer Instinct logos. With the earlier reveal of TJ Combo returning to the series, I thought he'd be focusing more on the upcoming second season for Killer Instinct. Instead, he revealed that Microsoft was reviving one of Xbox's oldest cult hits.

The CCG/action-game hybrid Phantom Dust is getting a reboot, and the news broke via a CG trailer. The original game was released a decade ago. It allowed players to build decks of cards, representing attacks and other moves, which could then be pulled into battles in a post-apocalyptic world.

I spoke with the original game's lead Yukio Futatsugi last year when he was preparing to release Crimson Dragon, the spiritual successor to his Panzer Dragoon series. He said that Phantom Dust remained a personal favorite of his and that bringing it back would be difficult, but that he was prepared to do so.

"I'm going to say to them that I'm 100-percent certain that I want to make another Phantom Dust," Futatsugi said. "The Phantom Dust team itself got separated, but the art director of the game and also the game design lead of the game work at my company, Grounding, and also the programming lead is working as a freelancer. Right now he's saying, 'If you're going to make Phantom Dust, just call me and I'll be there.' I'm going to be able to gather the real, core team together. So we are ready."
