How do you guys think X1 will do in Japan? Better than what the 360 did?

Home Consoles seem to be on a decline in Japan so it wouldnt surprise me if it did less than X360. However if MSFT pushes it a little more this time i coould see it doing just as well or a little better. I wouldnt make a bet on anything though.

I think it will sell less than the 360. Everything from the look and size of it to its games are things that would not appeal to Japanese gamers.
By the way if you all want me to remove some of the options in the poll i will. The people who comments in this thread and are regular members are going to have more say in the name than anybody else
X1 fate in Japan will depend on how much support MS gives to japanese devs. 360 was off to a good start they even sold 30k once but they canned multiple projects and ceased development of japanese friendly games.
I think they should release Killer Instinct on launch day and have multiple tournaments with it. This game can rival with the Street Fighters and Soul Caliburs and Japan like their fighting games. They should also release KI in the arcades over there along with a version of Forza Horizon... a bit like Outrun.

Already announced launch titles, KI wasn't on there....
I hope! they just aren't including digital (Oxms article) |
It doesnt have a physical release so that would be my guess as to why. Though i will say i do hope Killer Instinct gets a physical release with KI Season 2
I went with republic because of KoToR
