VGChartz isn't really that bad of a site, but the likes of N4G, GameTrailers and NeoGaf are ones to defiantly avoid.

let's hope that developers can put some on the discs of their games. and we will obviously get many to buy like we could this gen lol.

The hell it isnt. They may be bad or worst but in general forums are a cess pool. 

Was just having this conversation with some of my friends earlier as we were talking about Call of Duty (Yeah i know that hated game on forums that suddenly sparks millions of comments over pixels that still has Frame rate issues) except we actually like the games even though they severely need to update the franchise or give it a small break.

Anyways i brought up how forums are ridiculous and that gamers that visit them are whiny bitches who does nothing but be disrespectful(Mainly talking about the halloween dota situation at this point).  To give you a clue on who they are, one is a PC elitist who dislikes consoles and the other is more similar to me in tastes of games.  I know for a fact that he and i just play games to play them.  Whether it be Killzone, halo, or Mario kart 7 we just play and have fun.  Suddenly i came to this site and everthing turned to war.  I am not allowed to say I like just games, that is against the law on forums.  According to forums YOU MUST have a preference as everyone is apparently biased(you must be in the war atomosphere or else).  Even if you dont have a preference you have to hear shit talk from faceless people all day.

Really think about that for a moment. "Faceless people talking shit".  I use to say all the time when i was younger "If you can talk shit on YouTube, you can do anything".  But this is what forums are.  Not a place to discuss games, it is a place to argue about them and whine like little bitches about products you dont like.

The occasional positive threads that are shown still has the faceless assholes come in and try and ruin the fun for people.  Then it becomes an eye for an eye.  "You talk shit about my piece of plastic so ill talk shit about your piece of plastic."

To top it off people follow companies like it is a religion.  News flash, companies want your money and they will say whatever they can to get your money.  YOu think theyre making games to get us to enjoy our life more?  Hell no, they make games that we enjoy to get our money.

Games are games yet we get so worked up over "The best" which comes down to opinions.  What makes me more upset about all of this is the absolute lack of respect everybody has for each other.  God forbid people be respectful of other peoples opinions.

You know what, all three consoles has been good.  Personally i disliked the wii and im honest about that.  But the Ps360 has been my favorite consoles of all time.  Personally i thought PS3 had the best exclusives while I enjoyed Xbox Live more because i hated the UI and PS3 controller.  YOu know what happens when i say that on VGC (My personal opinion)?  Somebody gets upset and tells me why im wrong and that I MUST be a fanboy of one.  To hell with enjoying two consoles.  YOU HAVE TO ENJOY ONE MORE THAN THE OTHER. IT IS LAW.  You must have an agenda to comment on forums didnt you know?

This shit is over and over again on this site.  I did try and help this site out in the last year.  I wanted rules to make it better and mods that would enforce them and I helped put together PS Nation, Nintendomination, and XBO Nation along with mostly spreading positive news threads, giving honest reviews without the emotions attatched, and a lot of opinion pieces.  Yes I have defended Xbox a lot as i get annoyed with the constant shit talking from the same faceless people over and over again.  Yes ive made mistakes on this site as well but being a part of this site is more of a hastle than a joy to be honest. 

I came to this site to follow software numbers.  Primarily ModNation Racers, Killzone, and Halo when i first joined.  I did not start commenting until i got an office job and was stuck on a computer with not much to do all day.  Looking back on it i should have just ignored this sites forum.  It is in no better state than when i joined and is still a shit hole if not worst.

Defending the Xbox is Major Nelsons job and people you are talking about have no intentions of changing, so why argue with them?

Because for a long time I wanted this place to be better for everyone and not just for Sony/Nintendo fans. I gave up on that ever happening as Xbox fans still hide or leave this site one by one.
