It is the slowest, most umbalanced JRPG ever conceived. People take AGES climbing on a stair, or using an elevator. Don't get me started on the 15 second intro per ANY combat, or the slowest victory fanfare ever either.

It's even better when you cast something. Even the worst fire spell. I've seen some breaking-limits in Final Fantasy less spectacular than that spell.

And why botter using mortals, when Jansen takes four turns to cast Leveler yet any inmortal only takes one xD

When did you play Lost Odyssey? In 2012, while installing all discs those pre-loading battle screen get reduced heavily.

There are problems with the game, and it actually isn't rated THAT high on metacritic; last I remember it was in the mid 70s.

My one big issue was the disconnect and how it dragged so much when the team got split up, I believe this was disc 3? And if you took too much time grinding, the final boss it as easy at Eternal Sonata's final boss.

That's all cool, but let's not forget Jansen tried to rape the Queen of Numara!
