Ellie is a perfect example of a teenager her age, growing up i had friends who had very similar personalities. About Tess, if you want an example of mean violent women book yourself a tour of a womans correctional facility, then come back with that argument. Infact, book one for a youth detention center while your at it. and it takes place after the collapse of society of course its going to be dreary.. but i ask you this, have you even finished the game before spouting this crap? have you seen all the hidden messages in the game? symbolism towards the end?

whats next are you going to say a Bill is an impossible representation of a gay man? i mean with your logic, if a woman cant be violent, surely a he cant be as well.

I thought that the whole point of fantasy was to not be real.

So because, Character doesn't enter your view of Teenager girl or Women, they are not realistic ?

If that is typical behaviour to you than I feel sorry for you. I had no idea teenagers with no life experience could be more knowledgable about life than an adult. I guess in your case it is true. I would never have believed that. Thanks for the info.

I know there are a small number of violent women psycopaths, but that is not the norm. Yes, there are a few in prison, but not many in prison are that violent. It is a very rare circumstance. However, in this game a violent woman is treated as somthing normal. That is a total delusion. But I see there are people that buy into that delusion. I guess it sells for some people.

Hey Angelus, thanks for the comment. i was hoping that the developers would show a little thoughfulness in their game. Sure life can be crap at time. But that has never stopped people from thinking intelligently about life. Even the Jews in Nazi Germany believed in a God. So it doesn't get much worse than they. They are not idiots. They realize there is suffering, but there is also a final cause, a primary beginnng, and a beginner - God. The game developers have no intellectual sophistication at all. 

But you do agree that the situation you're in now does not necessarily dictate how things would be in a post zombie apaocalypse hellscape right?  Whole point of the game seems to be about letting go of your morals in order to survive.  Basically everyone who isn't a violent nut has already died so it probably does seem pretty normal.  

I don't like hearing kids cuss myself. I think they do it to get cool points for putting it in the game. Like how it was cool to put cuss words in albums and if your album had that label on it, it was cool. If I was living in their world, in this game, I would slap any little kid that cussed. Game of Thrones style. There's no more laws anyways. Every time I heard her cuss, which was almost every 5 minutes, it made me cringe. That was my only main gripe about this game. Everything else I loved. If any of my nieces or nephews saw me playing this game and that little bitch kept cussing, they would do it too. They would think it's ok.

Certainly the most coherent argument so far. However, do you think these characters affect society as role models? And do they aim for standards that are the best for society or the worst?
