Over 300 European games industry members were asked for their views by the Game Developers Conference on the next generation of consoles, as well as what countries they think will move the industry forward in the years ahead.

In terms of next-gen titles currently in development, 13% of respondents said they were working on PlayStation 4 games, compared with 9% working for Xbox One and 5% for Wii U. This trend was mirrored in future intentions as well; 23% of those asked were planning to create a PS4 title next, while 14% were eyeing up the Xbox One and 7% the Wii U.

Probably because of the x86 architecture and off shelves components, combined with self publishing, a lot of smaller devs will be putting their games for PC/PS4 like we already are seeing at the moment. I'm happy with this news, the bigger the support, the lower the software drought chance is.

Well, the true story is about Wii U, I think....

If I were the editor of this news, I will focus more on how badly Wii U gets the support from developers, but not make a flame between PS4 and X1. So shame about this article.

And if you read more, tablet/smartphone enjoy the most supports/interests from these developers that is bad news for console games.

While yes it would have affected it, surely in terms of what developers are working on it wouldn't. Which was 14% to 9% to 5%. 

How would you think the figures would change? the DRM was meant to be good for the industry according to MS. 

Now with the changes everyone wants to make games for the xbox one.
