That's why on my earlier comment I said that IMO most of them are obnoxious and immature. Every MS/Xbox article is infested by trolls. Every WiiU article is infested by trolls and if you observe you gonna see that there's a common denominator.

No wonder a study on PS3 showed that PS3 owners pass more time doing extra gaming activities on their console compared to Xbox and Wii owners.

The issue has nothing to do with Sony trolls. MS has fucked up the last couple months, its been hard for loyalist to deal with all the negative aspect associated wth MS messing up. Sony fans and many MS fans have made their voice heard with the whole Xbox craziness. 

But this is nothing new, Sony fans dealt with this with the PS3, VITA, PSP. It just some cant handle the negativity and make it personal. 

The fact is we are just fans, we not part of these comapanies and our feeling should not get hurt we they get critized. 

The thing is it's true and not at the same time. It's true that we are just fans, it's true that we are not part of these companies, but the truth is also that we care about these companies and the games they make, because we like them. Trolls know that and they take pleasure in bashing the things we like, it's just like children have always known to do, it's elementary human behavior. So though most of us should learn to distance our feelings from the opinions of others, it's not true that trolls should be tolerated.

The truth is that trolls are like flies, or like mosquitos. If one tries to sting you, you swat it, no problem. When there are too many to count, it becomes unbearable.

I have to admit I missed the PS3 days on the forum, I was mostly not interested in the forum back then and focused on the numbers and graphs. However I did notice the Vita and there was this one user called johnny_bmk. I remember him bashing the Vita in a media create thread and I told him off. I didn't care what fan I was of, I just didn't want him doing that. That's what I'd like to see more Sony fans doing, because until I see that it makes me hard to respect the good Sony fans, in essence they become accomplices.

I have been here since 2008. I can safely say MS is the least trolled company this Generation. 

Sony fans are having some fun now because we've come a long way. From having no games, having just one exclusive, the amount of negativity towards the Sony and the PS3 was insane.

First of all I did not and frankly I do not remimber this time on VGC... Second it does not change anything to the fact that right now it is really annoying to post anything about Microsoft on these forums... And finally; with all respect; your name is PSRock... (my avatar is the masterchief too); can we agree that at any time when one console or company gets all the bad attention; it is VERY annoying for this console/company fans?

Critizing and trolling are two different thing. I'm known for being negative, but Sony gets most of it. I hate that Vita memory card, childish software, annoying download on the PS3, but I say them. A lot of fans become so invested in this console war, they don't see the mistakes these companies make. We had a huge amount of MS fans defending their DRM strategies in this website. That's crazy to me. 

Rules are there to fight trolling, report them. But it doesnt make sense when the users that whine the most about Sony trolls are the one that are always being moderated in this site. 

Sony has done many things right this next Gen and MS hasnt, there are still time fix that, but no company is immune to critics.

Anyway, I own a PC, so I am part of the MS ecosystem. Blame MS for a change, they are the one with the bad PR, terrible policies, higher pricing. They have created this negative energy just ike Sony did in 2006. You just have to deal with it.
