It's weird, but i vividly remember in 2006, 2007 and 2008 when PS fans were being scrutinized for saying anything positive about the PS3, no one was complaining about N4G, Youtube, IGN or NeoGaf being biased and trolololing! Nowadays the complaining's everywhere.
What's changed?

N4G? It is a stinking hole. A foul pit filled with only the basest, most vile of trolls and fanboys from all sides. This has been the case since I first started visiting the site 2 years ago, and it only grows worse by the day. N4G is where logic, reason, and respect go to die.
Which is exactly why it's so fun to visit from time to time! Seeing all the nonsense that people post in the comments does wonders for my self esteem. In my experience with the site, Sony fanboys have been by far the most vocal of the bunch, but apparently it was the "Xbots"(now endearingly know as "Xboners") who were the main offenders back in the day. This leads me to suspect that there's something about the site itself, perhaps the moderation, the bubble system, or the article approval system, that makes the site so attractive to trolls and morons and makes having a decent conversation all but entirely impossible.
