Forums - Gaming - N4G is just sad... All they do is trololololol

It stil does not make it a fact. The word "fact" is misused all the time especially in forums and this is one of those cases.

E.g. There are more Sony fans than MS fans on VGC: fact

Wii has sold more than Ps3 and xb360: fact

Sony fans are annoying (according to MS fans) : opinion

No, it's more like:

Sony fans are annoying: opinion

Sony fans are annoying according to MS fans: fact.

Buy a PS4, live a little.

We had a good conversation and actually all came to the same conclusion about trolls (with PSRock, Happydolphin and Blood_Tears).
And then you reply this; good job sir you win the award :)

PS: I will be getting a PS4 by the way, there is no way I'm going to skip this console

My point is just chill out and let the internet burn, once the forrest is reduced to ashes it will regrow, it always does.

No, your point is just flaming :)

Really, because it only seems to be you that thinks so, how exactly is pointing out the differences between opinion and fact (just as others have done so to you in this thread) flaming? you xbox fans really are sensitive lately.

Seriously, this is not a proper use of the word "fact". You might disagree, but even the bolded is improper. If you read any scholarly books, you'll realize that the editor would never allow for the word "fact" to be used in such context (I'm writing a PhD thesis and have been warned about this by my supervisor who's been lecturing for decades). A more factually correct sentence would have been: "the statements of the  majority of active users on vgc who use xbox as their primary console suggest that they consider statements made by Sony fans annoying." We don't know how xbox lurkers feel about it, we don't know if people who support ms are actually ms fans or xbox owners, we don't know if their opinion of sony fans changes some times, etc. We can't talk about facts when there isn't 100% certainty.

If you think N4G is hard on MS fans, try being a Nintendo fan. Worse still, try publishing a positive Nintendo article there. On my network, we could post a positive Sony article and the hits and positive comments would roll in instantly. A positive Nintendo article would get 1/10th the hits and just get flooded with troll comments.

What the hell are you talking about lol? Others have actually pointed out the exact same thing I did... That as of now, it is a FACT that on N4G and even VGC a lot of people (trolls mainly) are bashing every Microsoft threads discouraging a lot of people from posting.

I cannot believe you are still arguing with that.. And "the others" like you said are all agreeing with me. You are the only one trying to imply that this is not a fact but an oppinion lolYou are just mixing preferences of people with how annoying to do not be able to talk about Microsoft's stuff without getting trolled and bashed.

And when you post that kind of hit-and-run post "Buy  a PS4, live a little" in a thread talking about the issue above, yes, you are flaming, that's for sure.

Dude... Seriously... 100% fact or not... It has nothing to do with an oppinion or personnal preference and this is the whole point here.
This guy is arguing since yesterday on that and he is wrong; and frankly he is derailing the thread quite a bit with that.

Now I can agree with you that we cannot be 100% sure about how ALL Xbox fans are feeling; but it is safe to say at least 90% are... :) But come on; that's not really the issue here.

I think the issue is what we make it to be. I'm simply tired of seeing the majority of people on the internet using the word fact wrong. It's as annoying as to some to say "I could care less", instead of I could not care less. At any rate, we agree so let's move on.

Sony fans are annoying to most MS fans on vgchartz at the moment: fact.

I don't have 100% certainty, but I'm quite positive that that's a fact. It's my opinion that it's a fact. Regardless, I'm trying not to support thoughts like that which generalize anyways, I just want to show that your arguing his point is just semantics. This is what he meant, that he spoke to many people here and the concensus is that the XB fans are currently annoyed by Sony fans, so whether you agree with that or not is your right.

that :)

Though some people have a hard time differentiating trolling with legit criticism. Those people are super sensitive.

For example:
Just recently, I had a friend on facebook unfriend me because I openly criticized the DRM (before the 180) on my facebook page.
