Then I give a quick one-liner which is COMPLETELY tongue-in-cheek, and he gets pissed off for some reason and WORST OF ALL, yo_John doesn't even see my post just a few posts down COMPLETELY clarifying the matter. Usually these kind of things don't bother me, but to be banned for 1/24th of a year for something this silly actually tells me that there's something seriously wrong with how the website is managed. This is a deal breaker.

I think for every genuinely funny or insightful retort, there's about 50 other instances where somebody insults a user just for the sake of it, and that's not conducive to good discussion. And so for that reason mods have to ban direct attacks outright*

2: Criticizing the mod team outside of the "Monthly Ban Report" and "How do you think the mods are doing?" threads is against the rules. Has been for about two months now. Locking.
