I reckon 3DS can do it with the Pokemon bump. Vita all depends on Sony getting the memory cards and retail sorted. And on whether KillZone and Tearaway (along with Invizimals in Europe) are the system selling hits they sorely need that you can't get on another console.

Yes there's a long way to go. But about 75% of sales are in the last 3 months of the year.

The PSV might get a price cut in the West, but that would not change the above result all that much, because the price cut in Japan gave those numbers already a bump. Also, there isn't much compelling software for the PSV on the way and most PlayStation fans will see the PS4 as their priority, if they are going to buy hardware this year. If the Vita manages 4m this year, then that's very good considering the circumstances. If there's no price cut in the West this year, then numbers as low as 3m aren't out of the question.

The 3DS will get Monster Hunter 4 (Japan) and Pokémon (worldwide) later this year, so it should exceed those 14m from above with relative ease. 15-16m seem realistic, but 18m is out of reach.



So your saying around 14mil but with pokemon/mh4 it can reach 15-16mil? I hear ya but 18mil out of the Question? I think it has a could chance! Pokemon/MH4 and LoZ will push the numbers very high from Oct-Dec this year(sept-dec in japan)! The lowest i see 3ds having this year is 16mil so im going to say for 18mil there is a shot. 19mil-20mil as well
