should sony and naughty dog make The Last of Us 2? if so, should they continue the story of ellie + joel? or start off with new characters?

NO! This game is perfect standalone. Make a game in the same universe but with totally new characters. Set it in some other country but don't you dare ruin the perfect journey storywise that was Joel, Ellie, Bill, etc. Honestly though I feel that this a great game to just let it be. Naughty Dog should make a new IP set in a fantasy world or get to work on Jak 4. I want to see them do something where they make their own world again! LoU is fantastic and I feel that's its complete without being a trilogy or anything. If you must make a sequel look to Infamous Second Son because Infamous 2 had the perfect conclusion so they got a new cast of characters and only loosly referenced the previous games.

I really want to continue my adventures with Joel and Ellie, but another part wants to explore other parts if the world. I have faith in nd to craft more chars that I care about. Maybe if it's new people, we can maybe run into Joel and Ellie a bit during the game. Just to see how they're doing.

What story is there to tell? The peaceful and quite life of Joel and Ellie back at Tom's place?

They should make a new IP for the PS4, since i think its highly likely the other ND team is making Uncharted 4.

I want the story of Ish...Maybe DLC or something. Also regarding Last of Us 2, possibly they could make it where Ellie finds out Joel lied to her and then take it from there OR just make a brand new cast of characters and sort of follow their Journey.
