The Chinese government is planning on lifting it’s absurd ban on consoles, according to a new report in their national newspaper. 

The South China Morning Post says that the government’s policy change has the go ahead from Premier Li Keqiang, and consoles will be allowed in the country for the first time since 2000.

I thought they already did this?
I read something about this a few months back.

I'd say a decent amount.



It was rumored that they were going to do it but it never happen yet. also china's population is big so hopefully they embrace gaming

Article says first time since 2000. Is that mainly stating foreign companies because Nintendo did a partnership with iQue for the iQue Player which played N64 games which was released Nov. 2003 in China.
