@shade

blame CNET!! they just want extra money, and they would fire someone for a crappy game company. (kane and lynch was a load of bull! i played it and turned it in to gamestop for full price!!)

and CNet cries out loud at the world. Now Gamerankings and metacritic needs to die.. both are owned by CNet.

It just strikes me as so completely ridiculous that CNet is dumb enough to put money into two sites that do the same thing in slightly different ways.

I suspect CNet has corporate cancer, a condition where one of a company's dumber departments (typically marketing or HR) starts to take over the company and run it into the ground. The paradox of corporate America is that the least competent people are all too often the best at manipulating corporate politics to their advantage.

I wonder if these guys will all go and start a new website.

Tbh, I never liked Jeff. Giving LoZ: TP an 8.8 and WarioWare: Smooth Moves a 9.1 crossed the line.

gamespot is crumbling, like petrified sand

Listen to GameFAQs, which along with Gamespot is part of CNET networks? Gamespot is literally plastered on the GameFAQs logo.
