Dark Souls is perfected game design. There's not a single fault with that game. Same with Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2.

The only problem i had with dark souls was that there was a noticable input lag that would cause me to roll multiple times in a row and get me killed just as much.

Really? In what situations did you double roll against your will? Honestly it didn't happen to me. Maybe it was because of slow internet or something rather than input lag?

Usually when i roll, i double tap the roll button instead of just taping once and it makes me roll twice. It could be internet problems but i can never tell when im connected or not.

You should try to stop double tapping then. Perhaps your controls are slow (due to internet or whatever), so there is some lag between input and effect on screen, and therefore you almost automatically double tap since you don't get that immediate feedback on the screen.

But like I say, probably has to do with the connection lag when online (I sometimes do same moves twice too when playing online and there's other people near, because the lag makes me thing my moves don't play out or don't connect), and not the game's controller input lag, if you know what I mean.

At least there is some company out there who refuse to sell out & go mainstream & target the casual crowd like so many other companies did before them (RE cough-cough, FF cough-cough, Diablo cough-cough)

Well looks like I'll be passing on this then
