Seriously, has anyone seen the commercials for these?  The 'difference' is literally that the people in the commercials are physically holding them sideways, making them look like a diamond.  It's ridiculous--has the world REALLY run the idea barrel dry?

This is the first time I know of this cereal. For the records, my favorites are Choco Krispies, Cookie Crisp and... that one with the tiger.

It's genius!! They are making fun out of everyone else. IE: New marshmellow shapes, new Cheerios flavours, etc., etc.

They are saying, look we could make some stupid cosmetic change too, but it's still Shreddies and you still love them for what they are.

Don't expect to find Diamond Shreddies on store shelves.

Edit: Then again, depends on how far they take the joke.  I could see a limited edition Diamond Shreddies box on store shelves.  Heck, I'd buy it to show my grandkids (in some far off distant future).
