Just taking another step to better understand VGCHartz, why is Others data collected first, is it because its easier to find, harder to find, or what? You'd think Japan would come first since its a single country.

I assume it's because ioi doesn't get all his data for JP and NA that fast.

Well, I don't know. You'd have to ask ioi.

Here are a couple guesses for fun, though:
1. Japan runs until Sunday whereas NA/Others runs until Saturday...so it makes sense to make Japan last to have more time to gather data

So now Japan is last, how to choose NA/Others:
2. ioi is from the UK
3. Data takes time to enter and check, so unless ioi wants to spend every Monday entering tons of data, he has to pick one to do first

I'm assuming its because he gets the retailer information in sooner. Probably because there is less retailer information to be collected from Others (as he has less contacts there).

 Don't forgetabout different timezones. The US is 'behind' the rest of the world timewise, and if he is from the UK, would have access to their data first and then be asleep when the US would be able to start sending their data.

My guess is cause ioi is European. He gets his local data first, then his worldwide data later.
