oh, I meant the kickstart goal before release. The crowd funding exceeded there goal. How it does afterwards is still yet to be seen.

ohh yeah. people actually thought it would be something important or good. never saw the value of the console. a 100$ console that plays andriod games and that will have yearly upgrades. really?

Well the concept of the console seem niche in general. People playing mobile games would prob be doing it with their smartphone or tablets. The ouya could still appeal to the rom communtiy though.

we had a couple threads here about how the ouya would change gaming forever and would push Sony/Ninten/soft to innovate even more but i think the hype for onlive was way bigger the big 3 were pretty much going bankrupt once it launched didn't really go that way saddly :P

I remember people going apeshit about it. I could never understand what they saw in the thing, but then again - I don't like mobile games anyway and don't play on my smartphone - that's what a handheld is for! I never could imagine myself sitting in front of a TV and playing android games.
