Guys, I'd ignore Lucas-Rio. Judging by his language and his reasoning he is here to flame and attempt to provoke exactly the kind of fuss he is getting. Let him lie under his bridge.

The comment from Konno about F Zero is quite pleasing, though given Mario Kart 8 will release sometime in the first half of next year, I would assume any F Zero game would be around 2016. Still, one can dream. I think Mario Kart 8 looks excellent.

Eh, fines. He's just being a broken record and those aren't fun anyways.

Once MK8 is finished, they'll also be finished with Mario Kart for this generation (unless they DLC), so they should have time to make an F-Zero. The question is, will they have reason to? The way the Wii U is selling right now, they kinda need to throw surefire sellers out there. It's probably why Retro made another DKC rather than StarFox or Metroid. Plus they said they haven't been able to come up with any cool ideas for F-Zero yet.nNintendo seems to think every new game in a series needs a unique gimmick/feature for some reason. All in all it's not looking good for F-Zero.

Started one year ago?  How did Nintendo not make their biggest money making franchise sooner.  Also I'm kinda surpirised about how fast they made the game, in the back of my head I'm starting to think maybe it might be a little rushed, hoping its not.

Well Mario Kart 7 released Dec 2011 and thry rushed that one so the team was probably working some crazy hours, they probably took some tine off after it was complete. Then possibly a few months brainstorming/planning things out and full development starting about a year ago. Also by the time it releases it will be close to 2 years since development started so not very rushed.

O ya, I forgot to take into consideration when the last game in the series came out...my bad.

I wanted to write system seller and not million seller.

Of course it will be a million seller, but not a system seller. It won't move hardware and won't sell the Wii U. It's too low class, low quality to sell consoles. It will be the worst sale of 3D Mario ever. It will sell less than Super Mario Sunshine.

Ok that makes more sense but I still think ur wrong. What exactly Is low quality about it? The graphics, the music?

It might not be a system seller in and of itself but with the addition of DKC/Wind Waker/Wii Fit/Party, Wii U u should have a solid holiday.

Didn't you see my debacle with him? It shows he can't actually back up anything he says. He's nothing but "X because I say so!" logic. People like that are better off ignored unless you're really bored, which I am atm hehe.

Oh, and about MK8's release. Them delaying LoZ:TP, shows that they're willing to delay even if their console ain't selling, and another Wii U drought wouldn't be as bad now that it'll actually have a decent library of games. Don't get me wrong here though. I'm not saying they shouldn't avoid delaying it if possible, only that it's not uber necessary for MK8 to be released in Spring, which means they can delay it if absolutely necessary. I doubt they'll need to it delay it though, so all that I'm saying here will likely be meaningless. And yeah I was also thinking they'd do MK8 for Spring, Smash for Summer, and Zelda for Holidays, with other games in between to keep a steady flow.

Ok I can agree with, Mario Kart isnt absolutely needed in the spring but it would be ideal. I think Mario Kart plus a price cut in April would be huge and would be the perfect time since PS4/One hype will be calming down by then.

Ah yes, I'd love a price cut! A $50 one would mean that for the same price as a PS4, I could get a Wii U Deluxe and 3 games (one being the pack in N-Land). If they did that around MK8's release date, I'd be very tempted to pick up a Wii U along with MK8 obviously and Pikmin 3. I'd still kinda want to hold out until the holidays for bundles and deals though, but we'll see.
