Sounds good. I like that F-zero was mentioned, it deserves to come back. I always preferred it to Wipeout

So again, nothing new.. Nintendo is killing the franchise. It is true that it's always fun to play MKs, but we're still playing MK7 on 3DS, so why bother ?

Whadya mean again? The only other MK8 news was at E3, and you're kidding yourself if you think nothing new was unveiled during that time. Also, it'll have been 3 years since MK7 came out when MK8 releases, and MK8 is looking to be leagues better than MK7, so yeah, there's definitely a reason to bother lol. Why bother with any previous MK game when MK8 comes out? That's the real question hehe.

MK8 development starting only one year ago is new. It was a mistake to me. It would have helped Wii U a lot this end of year. Now Wii U has no killer app for the end of the year

Also

"No others studio involved, 100% EAD Kyoto."

LOL at people who thought Nintendo was going to outsource his biggest licence to a SEGA developer doing the average sonic racer.

Didnt nintendo have retro studios develop some of MK7 though?

Retro Studio is owned by Nintendo, and they did some tracks to help finish in time but did not developp the game.

Can't really say that's new information as it was pretty obvious that they had been working on the game for some time, otherwise it wouldn't have been playable or perhaps even shown at E3. MK8 will help the Wii U when it's released regardless of how soon or late it comes out, so I don't really see the mistake here. I'd rather they take their time with the game to make sure it truely is the overall best game in the series, especially since they already rushed MK7 out of the gate, and although that game was spectacular, it could have easily been so much more.

Also, I don't think they don't need a single killer app, but a collection of great games, as I don't think many people actually buy a system solely for one game and one game alone. A particular game may be the biggest reason for getting X system, but without other games on X system, it still may not look very appealing or be of good value. That's just speculation/assumptions on my part though. But anywho, SM3DW, DKC:TP, Pikmin 3, WWHD, Wii Fit U, etc., will be that collection of games that increases the value of the Wii U. I'll also note that it's important to have a steady stream of games flowing. You don't want to release all your guns at once, less you have droughts like the one the Wii U endured, and we all saw how well that went for it.

It's ne information, because you don't expect Nintendo to start working on their best seller just 6 months before the Wii U launch. That's a big mistake. Mario kart U should have been one of the first project greenlighted for the console, and the developpment started way too late. That's why Nintendo can't have the game at christmas. If the development started 3 months earlier we will be getting the game at christmas and Wii U wouln't have terrible holyday season coming. Massive, massive mistake.

SM3DW looks garbage, DKTP is a 2D platformer (NSMBU did not do enough). WW is a remake, Wii Fit U is a gamble. MK8 was the only big card they had.

I'll just ignore the fact that you basically repeated yourself even after I debunked your original post.

We knew MK8 was going to be shown off and playable months prior to E3, hence we also knew the game had to have been under development for a good while. What you expected doesn't change these facts. Also, what you're saying they should have done with MK8 they already did with NSMBU and look how well that worked out. Again, it's not a single game that sells systems but a combination. The Wii U's poor sales as of late only further prove this. Sorry to point out the obvious some more, but just saying the Wii U will have a terrible holiday and that X game is bad doesn't make it so. You aswell as the rest of us on here are the minority. Just look at Call of Duty. People on here seem to like taking jabs at it like what you're doing now, yet it still continues to sell uber well.

Double-dash sucked, and I'm glad they're not going back to that well again.

Your opinion sucks on this one and you should feel extremely bad for it, NoName!

OT: Nothing new. Just re-iterations of what we practically already know.

I will repeat myself as you have obviously some difficulty to understand. Mario Kart 8 with only one year of development was new. Everybody expected it to be in development for at least 1.5-2 years. Everybody excepted a christmas release. Yesterday, we got the information that the game won't be ready for christmas because the development had begun just one year ago.

Hope you understand this time and stop making non sense.

Started one year ago?  How did Nintendo not make their biggest money making franchise sooner.  Also I'm kinda surpirised about how fast they made the game, in the back of my head I'm starting to think maybe it might be a little rushed, hoping its not.

Good, you're response has narrowed to only a part of what is being debated. That shows where the advantage lies hehe. Anywho, you can repeat yourself all you want, but it only makes you look silly as it's incorrect n disproven stuff you're saying over and over. Repeating it a billion times will not make it so, just like saying what I said is nonsense wont make it true. "X because I say so!" is terribad logic as anyone can do it and it wont make for good discussions. Also, why are you talking as if you're everyone lol? I'm pretty sure you're just one person. Besides, what you or anyone thought, expected, etc., is not even relevant to this discussion, so idk why you keep bringing it up. You may have just heard this news, but that doesn't mean it wasn't released already.

Well Mario Kart 7 released Dec 2011 and thry rushed that one so the team was probably working some crazy hours, they probably took some tine off after it was complete. Then possibly a few months brainstorming/planning things out and full development starting about a year ago. Also by the time it releases it will be close to 2 years since development started so not very rushed.
