Ok so everybody has a gaming story, or history, something. So please feel free to tell your entire life in the Video game industry.

    Heres my story:

I started gaming at a young age, i mean young. i was around 3 or 4 years old when i played my dads Nintendo 64. This was 2002 by the way. anyway, i played alot of games on it, like super mario bros, and a bunch of other games i dont really remember. Eventually my dad let me play his SEGA Genisis. i mean i was 5years old playing Splater house, sonic, streets of rage, street fighter, boogerman,  robocop, terminator, Mortel Kombat. kinda messed up right. Anyway at the same time i played alot of my Playstation. the PS1 had alot of great games,  but i didnt have them. i had some cool games that were popular. but most of my games were either low budget or rip off's of other games. none the less i had fun on it.

In the year of 2004 my uncle went and bought me a game for Playstation 2 thinking it would work for the PS1. Anyway we were at Walmart, i looked around and i saw the terminator game, it looked cool, But what i said was punisher and i got the 2004 Punisher game. it was amzing, very intense for a 6 year old child. Anyway to my suprise the PS2 game didnt work in the PS1. So  Chrismas had rolled around just like it always does, but this time at my gramas house her and my mom suprised me with a Brand new Slim Playstation 2. I loved it. i soon began to play it non stop. day in day out. my routin would be get up turn PS2 on, batheroom, Play, eat, play, sleep. it was kinda bad, but man did i have fun. over the years i had collected ALOT of games. over 80 games. i never sought to sell my games, even if i had beaten them 20 times over. Anyway i had continued on to collect and collect. i wasnt a huge gamer, like i didnt know everything about gaming, and all the releases. i just went to this place called Allide Records and bought what i saw interesting. One time me and my dad had went into the place and had saw a PS2 Fatty, it said $100 for the system and 1 game. we took the deal and the game we decided to have was Call of Duty Finest Hour. See i was a big  medal of honor fan, until my dad bought this game. i always played every medal of honor that came out, but my true fun was in Call of duty. Well my dad suprised me on my 7th birthday with Call of duty Big red one. It was amzing let me tell you. Anyway i started to collect games from then on. But in 2006 me and my dad went into Allide and saw a HUGE crowd. we saw Call of Duty 3 in big letters, but next to it said Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. we looked everywhere for a PS2 copy. But since the new systems were the next big thing Call of duty 3 so the PS2 version didnt come out until a latter date.

In 2007 i was made fun of alot in school because i was still excited about the PS2. people would tell me, well i have a Xbox 360 and HALO 3 is amzing or the PS3 is the bomb screw PS2 garbage. they were dicks, i mean come on this is like 3rd grade and kids are like this sighs at humanity. Anyway every day after school i would go to my cousins house and i would play with them on their Xbox 360. i played games like HALO 2 and 3, and Call of duty Modern Warfare, and COD World at war. World at war was what really made me want to buy the next generation consoles. So i started to save my money, from Xmas and may birth day i got around $250 together. so in 2008 i told my mom that all i want is Rock Band 2 and a PS3, i chose a Xbox first but then i saw you had to pay for online and said NO to that. she said no on getting me a PS3 because they were $400 and  we wernt really rich at the time. so i told her i will pay more than half if you pay the rest. she did it and that year was amzing. i Got a bunch of games, a new console, ohh memorys. in 2009 my uncle kept pestering me to get Online WiFi linked to your PS3. i was really new to all that at the time so i kept saying no, but eventually i said yes. my mom hooked something up, anyway i got internet. My first real Online game for the PS3 was MW2. i loved it, but then my true love came to me. BFBC2, i played that game soo much OMG that was amazing. i then started to really collect games. i actually started preordering games, that year i preordered BO, MOH 2010. i then continued like any other gamer. i got a big flat screen, HDMI, alot of games.

Now i have preordered a PS4 and getting over 11 games this year to go with it. i have grown up in gaming terms, i play everyday no matter what game, i buy everything it seems, i know almost everything to do with gaming.

I AM A GAMER....are you?????

I first starting gaming at my cousin's house, he had a NES and SNES and I would always go over to his house to play them, my parents wouldn't buy me them because they would just say "why can you play it at ____'s house."  When the N64 came out I kept bugging them until they finally bought me it, been gaming ever since lol.

I started out with the NES, then moved onto SNES. I loved Nintendo, but also came to like Sega's unique style of games having played a lot of Megadrive and went on to own a Saturn and a Dreamcast. I also owned the N64, Gamecube, Wii and currently a 360.

It feels like a privilege to have been at the right age to witness games evolve into what they are now and play so many classics first time around. I still gain a huge amount of enjoyment from playing my games, maybe not quite as much as I used to, but you never know what they might come up with next..

Yeah, I'm a gamer.

Too much planning, and you'll never get anything done.

Karl Pilkington.

Started from the bottom now we here

Back in the mid-80's I used to love playing Arkanoid in the arcades with my dad, and my cousins had a 2600 so I got to play all the great arcade classics that way. Then in '87 I got my first console, the 7800, while at the same time my cousins and uncle got an NES, and my life was changed forever by SMB.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I got a gameboy advance in 2002 (I think) now 11 years later I own 7 handhelds

My brother pressured me to combine my gift with his so we could get a nes. I was so addicted that I kept getting fever dreams of The Legend of Zelda. Contra 2 player and Metroid sealed the deal for life. Nintendo Power had me convinced that every nes game was amazing so I played a bunch.

Snes was next. I had loved playing altered beast on the genesis. But wasnt enough of a gamer to wanna expand. Super Mario World had so many bright colors. This was where I found my tastes. I learned that I dont like jrpg or racing games. I like action and adventure. I wanted Sonic the Hedgehog. But I had become a blind loyalist. 1994 was a great year as I anticipated The Ultra 64 while playing Super Punch-out!! and many other great games.

The delay and change of promise to Nintendo 64 was pretty hard for me. I had ignored playstation and saturn scoffing at how pathetic they where compared to what Nintendo was building. Finally it came and all my faith was rewarded. I went to toys are us and saw the big-three's demo stations and compared them. It was pathetic, Super Mario 64 was on another stratosphere. Bitterness began brewing over time though. I was lied to about the release date, Killer instinct, and Metroid.

Suddenly, out of no where, Sega Dreamcast came to blockbuster and I rented it. I was floored! Just Sonic alone had convinved me to buy one immediately. Soul Caliber assured me it was the right decision. Then Code Veronica and so many others! But playstation loomed with its successor. I felt the tide shifting.

With Dreamcast dead and Playstation 2 the focus of my scorn. I put my faith back in Nintendo and the promise of a new power, Microsoft. 2001, for the 1st time ever I bought a system on day 1, 2 systems. I went to e3 the next year and played Nintendo's trifecta. Sunshine, Windwaker, and Prime. Along with the mighty Microsoft's Steel Battalion. Morrowind was the biggest influence on me that gen.

Now I have all systems and am writing this from my Wii U. I love my Wii U and my 3DS. Its the unigue experience that I love about Nintendo systems. Without which I might have outgrown this favorite past time. But seriously, if Metroid ever skips another generation. I will be inconsolable...

Sooooo.... You're not 23?? :O

And yehh. I had my fucking story typed out. BUT pressed at the reset button.... FML
WHy the fuck is that button even there??? :o

Maybe I will try next tomorrow.

Everything ties back to Pokemon as that was my first game. (No need for a long story as I obviously haven't grown out of the Nintendo "phase" so there really is nothing to tell. I'm just a blind Nintendo fan following whatever they say.) You want me to buy Animal Crossing? Okay. Another Mario? Okie dokie. Iwata's poop? I'd be happy to.

I am a gamer. A Nintendo gamer. Deal with it

I started gaming in a computer and my first video games were Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings and Need for Speed II Special Edition (I didn't start gaming with Pokemon like my nickname suggests...)...I was an odd kid...and my favorite civilization were the Byzantines
