Forums - Nintendo - Mario & Luigi Dream Team Campaign will last 35+ Hours

Honestly, 35+ is a bit on the long side for the style of game this is. I love the Mario and Luigi games, but the humor starts to wear thin, and the combat is a bit too simplistic to hold up for 35 hours. I'd say 25 is the sweet spot, but longer is definitely better than shorter.

Around the Network

Sounds good

I belive I beat Partners In Time in 20+ hours and Bowser's Inside Story around 28 hours, so this is great if true.

We can't be sure of that until we've played the game. Of course when we do, everyone will have different opinions on the matter as there is no concrete rule as to how long a Mario RPG should be, but I'll bet most people will like the extra length, assuming this is all true of course. If the people they have testing this game are the same ones who were playing Pikmin 3 in it's trailers, then I could see why it'd take them 35 hours hehe.

Tis not a shame. I'd say you did yourself a favor. If newer Paper Mario games turn out similar to the last one, we're better off ignoring the series all together.
