X360 sales are still strong although slowing down, yet Microsoft released a new slimmer X30 looking like the One .

There are rumor saying Sony will release new PS3s but with internal changes only...

I'd like to see a better looking and slicker PS3 that is barely bigger than the size of a blu-ray drive, no power-bricks, and 128/256GB flash memory (no 4/6GBbullshit) with built-in Wifi standard, ready for future technologies (streaming, digital library/save for large games etc...), integrated HDMI cable, starting $199
3. It'll probably start with a standard 6GB at $250, a little slicker than the super slim, will look like the PS4 to justify having the two side by side, huge power brick, HDD up to 250GB

I believe there was an article that stated no price drop for ps3. Something about the ps3 still being expensive or whatever. The ps3 has gone through 3 iterations already. I don't think it needs another. There was fat, slim, and then super slim.

Yes the ULTRA SUPER SLIM VERSION ! No actually, I don't think they will even bother to think about it.. It's selling well and the next gen is approaching, so why even ?

They should try to release a PS3 Go. No bluray, just digital, and SUPER small. Like, cellphone size.

Not a new exterior design, but they will probably shrink down the internals if they can. I'm not sure whether or not they'll drop the price though.

It would be a good strategy when sales start to slow down, but I don't think it will ever happen, a price cut is definitely happening sometime after the PS4 launch, probably on E3 2014.

They always do this for every major version of the console and when the parts get small enough, that's when they release a revision of the exterior. So a slimmer version is possible if they are able to shrink down the internals significantly.

Yeah they probably will, if they do make it like the slim (but smaller) because these super slim disk thing makes it look cheap. With memory they should have 160/320 GB versions not the 4GB ones

Honestly I think 3 iterations is the limit, anymore and people are gonna start saying Sony is going too far.
