As a hardcore gamer, I agree. DKC: TF is a big waste for Retro. The first game is so easy that only casual can enjoy that game, can't imagine how easy the sequel is going to be. 

WW HD is out of the question because everyone hates it, that's a fact. The artstyle is extremely kiddy.

3D World sucks, simple as that.

I guess Nintendo just doesn't care about core gamers anymore, might as well stick to my PC from now on.

Pfft. Why should I care about "sticking it" to the hardcore? I don't play Nintendo games for the "OMG IT'S SO REALZ! LOOK AT THAT SUPER HD GRAVEL AND POST-APOCALYPTIC BROWN!" graphics. Nintendo games are about the feel, the gameplay, and the fun. And I will be getting 3D World, DK, and Wind Waker HD on day one! :D Why would I care if the "hardcorez" are impressed or not? They like what they like and I like what I like. Play what you like, people.

why Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is'nt hardcore?
why pikmin and X dont count?

Nintendo decisions make comercial sense, since DK sell more than metroid, and mario multiplayer sells more than a traditional 3d mario. They also will sell more consoles, and they are easier and faster to develop. (they would never bring a new stunning metroid at end of 2013, metroid deserves more developing time to be perfect like we want.)

Nintendo core games will come, but the problm is that everybody wants them in a single year.
wait for 2014 E3, until then play pikmin, DKC:TF, X, (w101, CoD, watchdogs, splinter cell: blacklist, batman arkham origins)

i'm buying both dkc: tropical freeze and super mario 3d world.

i'm buying them because i want to play them.

i couldn't care any less if "hardcore" people don't pick up the wii u because they don't find the appeal in the console.
