Also, misleading title. Nothing was confirmed. A guess was made.

he says he's sure of it and if you read the info on neogaf its baically 100% confirmed but i guess you can keep on denying it.

But who is fourth storm? A developer with extensive Wii U dev experience? A hardware designer at Nintendo?

He made a guess based on the available information. He may well be right, but that's not the meaning of the word "confirm".

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=67125671&postcount=6931 here is his last post in the wiiu gpu thead, which nobody disputes it, he confirms it with proof what more do you want. a developer or a nintendo designed would never leak anything like that unless they wanna break nda and suffer a severe punishment.

I want to summarise the following 50 pages for everyone who doesn´t want to waste his time:

Ninja: CONFIRM3D !!1!!one!!
everyone else: It is just speculation !
(repeat for the first 30 pages)
everyone else: It is ilogical to think that the WiiU could pull of the graphics it can with significantly less shader cores than the 360 (various "X" gifs will be posted )
Ninja: RED DEAD REDEMPTION LOOKS FAR BETTER !!!1!one!!
the rest:....whatever

Anonymous members of an internet forum agreeing on something doesn't equal technical proof.

Your thread title is misleading, that's all. You should change it to something, like "neogaf user claims 160SP for Wii U GPU".

Ninjablade is correct. Forum dwellers have more knoledge than a developer. We should take the word of some guy on a forum and completely ignore comments from professionals who have worked closely with hardward like shin'en.

LOL, yeah gotta love it, randoms on a forum are somehow a better source than developers with proven skills.

as far as i know fourth storm is not just some neogaf user, he was trusted to handle the wiiu gpu pic project, he and chip works have given us more info then anybody, including nintendo. his explanation is solid proof, unless anybody can dispute it.

1. Please post his professional credentials.

2. No, it's not. It's a guess.

like the developer that said wiiu is weaker then 360, or the one that said the wiiu is on par with current gen, i think you know who they are, why not trust them, i guess we should trust a exlusive nintedo developer, of course they would wanna sell the wiiu as being more powerful, whats in it for them, except  ther eliving.
