If you could choose who to kill, then the answer is even easier. I would kill the oldest, sickest person in the world with the lowest probability of contributing to the planet. But even if its random, I would still do it. Statistically, two random people are more likely to help the Earth and society than one random person. And millions of people are virtually guaranteed to.

However, if the victim is chosen for me, then it would depend on what she/he does.

But of course this is all easy to say now. If presented with the question in real life, I might not be able to do it.

Your utilitarian argument bothers me.  Who are you to weigh the worth of somebody's life?

I've killed innocent people for free. Spiders, flies, etc. Animals are people too.

Other than your bug here and there, I couldn't ever kill anything. This includes a bird my cat dragged into the house and it was suffering with broken wings, all cut up, still alive, etc. I didn't throw it out while it was alive because it probably would have been eaten alive by ants or something which is worse. After it was dead, I swept it up and threw it into the woods. It would have been more compassionate to kill the bird, but I'm the type of person that "wouldn't hurt a fly," despite the fact that I've killed flies so something else that I wouldn't hurt mostly anything.

I don´t I find it sad when a dog whimpers. I don´t like killing animals in game thats why I never played Far Cry 3, but don´t mind killing people at all

This!  Plus does the government "take care of" me when I decline?

I mean I know that they are doing something like that so chances are I have to do it otherwhise I will die and the guy will be killed by another person anyways.

Yeah sure most dogs add less to our society then most people do. But dogs are more innocent then people.
