I don't think Xneoblade is a new IP/franchise.

I'm sorry guys, because I edited the poll, you have to vote again. Sorry.

Mass Effect was such a beautyfull experience for me every part of those games was incredibly enjoyable. I love this franchise so much and it is the best new IP for me. The only others that could challenge it are Uncharted and The Last of Us.
Uncharted: Uncharted 2 is maybe the best game of this generation it changed the whole it basically changed the way we are playing. But the first game wasn´t great it was good but not great. And the 3rd game was great but had too many story flaws.
The Last of Us: Its one of my favourite games of all time. But I think and hope it will stay the only one, but doubt it. I had just more time spent with Mass Effect so thats the reason I chose Mass Effect over it.
But this is just my opinion

Yes it is
Number in terms of success and industry impact would Mass Effect followed by Gears of War.
In terms of cornerstone franchise building for a publisher Assassin's Creed followed by Uncharted.
In terms of production, Red Dead Redemption followed by BioShock and then Last of Us.

Red Dead Redemption is not a new IP from this generation
