Ah, it wants me to sign up for GWENT. I guess I already have this game on-disc and for Steam, but I was thinking that a GOG copy would have been nice too.

I wonder if I should look into the issue of my GPC sometimes not starting. I press the power button and after a few seconds it turns off again. Then I press it again and everything is fine. Got no other issues with the PC.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Wow, the site is up and running again! Does anyone know what happened yesterday? Because I see no thread nor anything explaining what went wrong...

Anyway, due to the site not working, yesterday I couldn't make the news . Now, I wasn't planning to make them today, but I may (but only may) do some recap later on, but only from DSOGaming.

That is, of course, if nothing wrong happens with the site again.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Have you tried GOG Connect? There are some games that, if you own them on Steam, you're granted a free copy at GOG.

Is this something new or has it been happening since you build it?

Well, that's weird.

The site was down for me for hours, the whole afternoon and evening. I even checked those sites that tell you if a site is down or not and they kept saying it was down.

But I'm sorry you're having problems with the coding of the site.

SOFTWARE

Steam Spy isn't dead after all
https://www.pcgamer.com/steam-spy-isnt-dead-after-all/
The curtain seemed to fall on Steam Spy earlier this month thanks to changes in Steam's privacy settings, driven by the EU General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR], that set game ownership information to private by default. Without that information, Steam Spy can't work, and since none of us could be reasonably expected to go to the trouble of making our data public, that appeared to be the end of it.
That's not actually the case at all, however. In a new blog post, Steam Spy creator Sergey Galyonkin said that the changes to the Steam Web API that messed with his software were not actually caused by GDPR compliance: Real names, achievements, groups, screenshots, and friends are still public by default, and the Steam EULA hasn't been updated to comply with the new privacy regulations. The same is true of more recent changes to the Store API: "Like the previous change, this one wasn’t caused by GDPR compliance either — it’s hard to imagine Valve protecting the store’s privacy," Galyonkin wrote.

Fallout 3 cut content mod adds dozens of axed NPCs, weapons, armour sets
https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-3-cut-content-mod-adds-dozens-of-axed-npcs-weapons-armour-sets/
Fallout 3 is, somehow, ten years old later this year. Having only played through the Capital Wasteland once myself, such a milestone might prompt a return—and if I do, I might play with kvatchcount's Simply Uncut mod installed.
By my count, Simply Uncut reintroduces 53 NPCs, weapons, armour sets and schematics missing from the full release game. Margaret, for example, is the blase Galaxy News Radio technician that's heard on-air when/if Three Dog dies, but is never actually seen in the game.

Fallout North Star is a new total conversion mod for Fallout 4, adding new quests, environments and more
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/fallout-north-star-is-a-new-total-conversion-mod-for-fallout-4-adding-new-quests-environments-and-more/
Last month, we informed you about Fallout Miami and Fallout: New California. These total conversion mod aim to extend the universe of Fallout 4, and here is today another TC that will bring Minnesota to it, Fallout North Star.

This Fallout 4 mod is basically Terminator: The Commonwealth
https://www.pcgamer.com/this-fallout-4-mod-is-basically-terminator-the-commonwealth/
Two cyborgs have traveled back in time to Fallout 4: one wants to kill you, one wants to protect you. That's the Terminator-inspired idea behind Marked for Termination, a new mod that adds two NPCs to your game when you reach level 10. The baddie, who presumably also looks exactly like Arnie, will hunt you down wherever you are on the map and attack on sight. It cannot be killed, which means you can try to incapacitate it or—probably a better idea—run for the hills.

Fallout 4 airships mod adds a splash of BioShock Infinite to the wasteland
https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-4-airships-mod-adds-a-splash-of-bioshock-infinite-to-the-wasteland/
Despite what you've heard, the post-apocalypse rebuild doesn't need settlements. It doesn't need camaraderie or hope or faith in humanity. It certainly doesn't need an ex-military vet wild goose chasing around an irradiated Boston in search of his missing kin. What it does need is airships—and lots of them.
Galejro's Age of Airships Fallout 4 mod aims to deliver the "golden age of rigid airships" to the Commonwealth, with 12 flying vessels, a cruiser and three missions that span the 1920s and '30s.

Unreal Redux is a fan remake of the classic Unreal in Unreal Engine 1
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/unreal-redux-is-a-fan-remake-of-the-classic-unreal-in-unreal-engine-1/
Krull0r is currently working on a pretty cool fan remake of the classic Unreal game in the Unreal Engine 1. Yeap, you read that right. This isn’t an Unreal Engine 4 remake. This is a fan remake in the first Unreal Engine – enhanced by the new oldunreal’s 227 patch – and will be as close to the original material as possible.

GTA modding tool OpenIV launches v3.0 with vehicle animations, PS4 support
https://www.pcgamer.com/gta-modding-tool-openiv-launches-v30-with-vehicle-animations-ps4-support/
In response to the OpenIV developer's ill-fated 'Liberty City in GTA 5' project, Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two issued a cease and desist order on OpenIV itself last year. The game's community reacted, and the prolific modding tool was thereafter reinstalled—at the expense of the ambitious (but hobbyist) Liberty City undertaking.
OpenIV's latest update, v3.0, is its biggest since last year's debacle.

Warcraft: Total War conversion mod enters public beta following eight years of work
https://www.pcgamer.com/warcraft-total-war-conversion-mod-enters-public-beta-following-eight-years-of-work/
Eight years ago, modder TheHappyCrusader set out to bring the Warcraft universe, specifically the Warcraft 3 era, to turn-based strategy game Medieval 2: Total War via a conversion mod. Lots of hard work and an entire change in personnel later, the team behind the project have released a public beta featuring 22 factions and a bespoke campaign.
Warcraft: Total War focuses on the universe's Third War, depicted in both Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and its expansion, Frozen Throne. The mod has 20 playable factions—including the Scourge, the Horde, and the Burning Legion—plus two factions that are "emergent" on the campaign map.

^Well, it's certainly not the best looking game ever, but I've seen worse.

We'll have to see what are the trade offs for such graphics.

Good news, i bought the Asus dual RX 580 8GB cheaper for about $275 from the local and yeah, the prices for the graphics cards have finally recovered. Gotta update my spec for a moment.
