Despite the different gameplays and that one game is being set in our days while the other one is in the old west, Ubisoft shouldn't launch Far Cry 5 after Red Dead Redemption 2, or else they'll be in trouble.

Nex year is gonna be as horrible as this one. People salivating over terribly boring and overhyped games. This year it was BOTW and next year it's gonna be RDR2. Good for me that there are still actually good games coming out.

The difference being that I'd pay $100 for the new Far Cry game but I wouldn't even play RDR if someone gave me $100.
