Specs for the RX 480 (that appears to be its official name) have apparently been leaked by a slide from AMD's presentation, and puts it between Nvidia's 970 and 970, or what's the same, about the same spot as the 390X.

AMD Radeon RX 480 specifications leaked?

AMD will have a conference later on today at Computex, you can talk about it at shikamaru's thread: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=217071

I don't have too much time for the news today, so here's a quick and dirt version of them:

DOOM surpasses 500K sales on the PC

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/doom-surpasses-500k-sales-on-the-pc/

It appears that DOOM is doing well on the PC as id Software’s title has sold 500K units so far. This information comes from Steamspy; a Steam stats service based on Web API provided by Valve.

Dead Island 2 has disappeared from Steam [Updated]

http://www.pcgamer.com/dead-island-2-has-disappeared-from-steam/

t has not been smooth sailing for Dead Island 2. In April of 2015 it was delayed significantly, which is not all that terribly unusual, but then publisher Deep Silver gave the boot to Yager Development, which most definitely was. Techland expressed interest in resuming the mantle, but that went nowhere; then, earlier this year, it came to light that Sumo Digital had taken up the reins.

Update: Deep Silver has issued the following statement regarding the removal of Dead Island 2 from Steam:

"Dead Island 2 is in development with Sumo Digital. Once we have new details to share, we will do so."

Better than nothing, I suppose. We'll keep you posted.

Payday 2 is ditching microtransactions

http://www.pcgamer.com/payday-2-is-ditching-microtransactions/

There was a huge uproar among the Payday community last year when Overkill added microtransactions to Payday 2 in the Black Market update, despite a 2013 promise not to. Now that decision has been reversed: Overkill parent Starbreeze Studios announced today that it has acquired the full rights to the Payday franchise from publisher 505 Games, and said microtransactions will be removed from Payday 2 in the next update.

Agony is a first-person horror about escaping hell

http://www.pcgamer.com/agony-is-a-first-person-horror-about-escaping-hell/

After finishing Doom it occurred to me how much fun it is to visit hell. Maybe it's the hotter-than-tropical climate, or the hedonism of the locals, or the sense of ancient evil that pervades every corner, but I find it quite a pleasant place to be. So it's lucky that Agony is a game set entirely in hell, and though it tasks you with escaping the devil's cesspit, you'll at least get some good sightseeing done in the meantime.

Mech Land Assault comes to Just Cause 3 early June

http://www.pcgamer.com/mech-land-assault-comes-to-just-cause-3-early-june/

Where do you go if your opening DLC featured an airborne nuclear battleship? Just Cause 3 has the answer: gravity-manipulating mechs will arrive June 3.

Very impressive, but I would worry about that thing overheating.

I think it should be include fans intake & outtake to get rid of overheating inside of the monitor.

Also, good thing they(consumers) can downgrade from 6950X to 6900K or 6800K.

Edit : $3500 if you changed CPU from 6950X to 6800K & M.2 SSD from 512GB to 256GB.

Speaking of heat intake, I really think I should grab a few fans for my rig since Ark tends to heat it up quite a bit and I'm only sporting 4 fans (two at the front, one at the rear and one CPU attached to one side of the heatsink). Dunno what good brands of fans I should go for though and what size would be better (not much of a fan guy lol).

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

You're lucky that this is not an enthusiast site, that kind of question could start a discussion.

To decide on which fans to get (and I'll skip the part where I tell you to treat it like any other hardware component... oops!), you have to decide what matters the most; price, noise or performance.

As for 120 vs 140 mm., your case supports both formats? Some cases only have room for 120mm fans in certain positions. Also the fans you have now came with your case (and if so, what case it is) or did you bought them?

What a time to be a PC gamer.

Well, if someone wants hentai games, the PC was always the best option. But you won't find these games on Steam. ;)

A simple edition of the news:

THE ACTION-RPG NOX IS NOW FREE ON ORIGIN

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-action-rpg-nox-is-now-free-on-origin/

The Westwood-developed action-RPG Nox is a pretty old game, released all the way back in 2000, but it was a pretty good one by most accounts. And if it didn't set the world on fire, that may be in part because Westwood's star was already well in decline by then, and also because of the release of Diablo 2 a few months later, which very much did set the world on fire. So you may have missed it. But now it's free on Origin, which makes this a fine time to get caught up.

http://www.pcgamer.com/humble-narrative-bundle-features-her-story-80-days-and-more/

Every once in awhile a Humble Bundle comes along that's just too good to ignore. Today's launch of the Humble Narrative Bundle, featuring Her Story, Broken Age, 80 Days, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong, definitely feels like one of those times.

After more than five years on the job, Kerbal Space Program Lead Developer Felipe Falanghe is moving on. In a farewell message posted on the KSP subreddit, Falanghe praised and thanked the development team and KSP supporters, but said, “I desperately need to have something new, to create more than one game in my life.”

LAWBREAKERS VIDEOS SING THE VIRTUES OF VERTICALITY

http://www.pcgamer.com/lawbreakers-videos-sing-the-virtues-of-verticality/

Verticality is all the rage in first-person shooters, as it bloody well should be. Overwatch, Titanfall, the last handful of Call of Duty games... they all let you demolish enemies from on high, but LawBreakers seems to be taking the theme further. As Tyler noted in his hands-on preview last month, you can actually glide through the maps at high speed. These new videos serve to further demonstrate that.

ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE: DARK BROTHERHOOD TRAILER IS JUST A BUNCH OF PEOPLE GETTING STABBED FROM BEHIND

http://www.pcgamer.com/elder-scrolls-online-dark-brotherhood-trailer-is-just-a-bunch-of-people-getting-stabbed-from-behind/

The Elder Scrolls Online is expanding today, with the release of The Dark Brotherhood DLC pack. As the name suggests, you'll be allowed to join the Dark Brotherhood, who – judging by the below launch video – just love to stab people in the back! The video is pretty much just a stream of various clueless, innocent bystanders copping knives in the back. It's relentless.

PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2017 – TWO NEW SCREENSHOTS RELEASED

http://www.dsogaming.com/screenshot-news/pro-evolution-soccer-2017-two-new-screenshots-released/

Konami has released two new screenshots for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. PES 2017 promises to be better than its predecessor, however it’s unclear whether the PC version will be based on its current-gen or old-gen version.
